Finding Your True Colours...

I wanted to share this blog with you, as you all know I have a massive passion for beauty. Plus it's always important for us all to know what colours match our skin tone better, as that will leave us with the best make-up results.

Take a look at some handy tips of mine, to find out what colours best suit your skin tone!

Are you a warm peach or a cool rose?

The first thing a make-up artist would do before getting out their make-up palette is making the decision of knowing what colours are best for your skin tone. Finding the right colour for your skin is a massive decision to make, as we all want something that flatters our skin tone and leaves us with an amazing result right? So follow the footsteps of a make-up artist and figure out what colours suit your skin tone best.

Is your skin tone a warm peach or a cool rose? (Following steps, aren't always easy so I will try and make it as easy as possible for you all!)

There are two types of skin tones, warm and cool. (I am definitely the cool tone, so for any of you blondes and blue eyes this is definitely a little hint of what skin tone you will be!) For people who have a warm tone, this will mean that you will have peach or yellow undertones to your skin. Basically meaning, warm fiery colours make them glow! For cool types, pink or blue undertones are usually the main colours! (Definitely, for me as I am always using pink based tones!)

I have used two cards, as I believe this is the best way to show you all what best suits you!

1) Look in a mirror (daylight is usually best), hold the orange and then the pink card just below your chin.

2) The best colour for you will light up your face and make blemishes fade, but unfortunately the wrong colour will make your skin look drained! (almost like a tired look, that's not a great look to have is it?)

I hope this has helped you all!

Lots of love, Anya x
