What I've been up to for the last few weeks...

Hey, have you all enjoyed your Friday evening? Are you looking forward to the weekend? I know that I certainly am!
I absolutely love this inspirational picture which I found on Instagram and Pinterest I definitely had to share it with you again! It's so true though, Saturday is my absolute favourite day out of them all!

So as I haven't been able to sit back and blog for a while I thought I would sum up my last two weeks with you all as it's been pretty hectic!

First of all, as you all probably know already Scott is down from university for Easter. So I have been making the moments last with him as it will be a while since we next see each other !! :(

As you all have probably noticed already Scoot and I headed over to Southampton to do some shopping, we went with family members of mine! We both love spending time with family and making new memories so it was an amazing day!!

It was a great shopping spree for me as I found myself spending £120 in Mac Makeup - in the space of the first half an hour!! :( ! Ha-ha there goes my bank balance!

It's so important to me to spend time with family and that's why I love spending time with my loved ones as we all share so many memorable memories! Remember, to spend the time with the people that love you as it makes you such a happier person!

I couldn't help but take so many pictures of make-up! I have so many more that I will share with you but I thought I would save them for another blog! I ended up having a sneaky peek at Bobbi Brown but Scott was slightly impatient and wanted to have a look around 'boy' shops! I wonder if that actually happened though?

After dinner, I had to have a little nosey into Victoria Secret's! How could you walk past the shop? Well Scott and I didn't did we?

Before, heading over to Primark I had a quick nosey into New Look and found myself buying a new pair of black platforms which I may find myself wearing tonight... I will have to have a little think! It must have been my lucky day, as it was 25% off all shoes, unfortunately they didn't have the white pair in my size :(! Otherwise, I would have bought a new pair of white platforms too! They were such a good bargain though!!

Before, leaving West Quay Scott managed to convince me into trying out a frozen yoghurt from a stall. It was simply beautiful, we loved it! Thanks Scott, it's definitely a treat and a half!!

How could we miss heading over to Lush Cosmetics? That's right, we couldn't? It just simply amazes me there products!!

Then of course we had, Max's tenth birthday which was full of joy and birthday celebrations.! I hope you had an amazing birthday Max and enjoyed your Chinese ha-ha!

It's always good to fit as many dates in as we possibly can and to spend some time together so where better else than heading to the Taveners? I absolutely adore the restaurant, thank you to my: mum, step-dad and Heidi for introducing me to such a beautiful place!!

After, such a beautiful meal we headed for a little walk around Godshill as it's such a beautiful little town with great scenery!

It was then when I discovered the Chocolate Isle.... I never knew there was a chocolate cafe which got me really excited!! So it looked like Scott and I would be heading back to Godshill later on in the week to have some chocolate treats! There goes my diet ;)!

Just wow!!!! Of course, we had to have a panini which was followed by our milkshakes and then our Chocolate Tapas treats!

Finally, to top the week off Scott and I decided to make my grandparents dinner and we chose a Mexican based dinner which was simply beautiful!!

It has been a pretty hectic few weeks for Scott and I but we have loved spending time with each other and family!! Now it's time for me to settle down and blog as I have pretty much missed being able to blog for you all!

Have a wonderful Easter!!

Much Love, Anya xx

My First Impressions On Kiko Milano Universal Fit Hydrating Foundation...

Happy Friday Everyone!! Well it's definitely a happy Friday for me that's for sure!

Have you guessed why?.... Yes of course it's all down to the bright blue sky that's right outside while I am typing this blog out for you all! It's utterly incredible, I am literally lost for words!!

Once, I have finished blogging for the day I will be heading straight outside to enjoy some sunny weather as UK weather is definitely always lacking some sun!

Spring is most definitely here, this makes me so much happier as it's one step closer to Summer!!

Ha-ha, I feel like this has become a blog dedicated to Spring and British weather so I better stop with the weather subject for now!

As you can see, I have chosen one of my favourite inspirational pictures of this week which actually my grandad loved as well as he popped his head round into my bedroom to check if I was okay... So thanks for the help Gramps!! I think it fits the blog quite well as it's pretty and colourful but of course not forgetting the fact it's a happy Friday!!

Swiftly moving on, of course I had to include a selfie that I previously took during this week... I wonder if you guys have been keeping up with my social medias, if you have you would have noticed something? I wonder if your guessing now... Head over to my Instagram to try and figure out the mistake I made - babyanyamarie97 and I will let you know at the end of this blog...

Clearly, you can tell I have a lot of thoughts to share with you as I've been rambling on... Hopefully, I will be able to finally get on with the whole point of this blog for you guys!!

Wow, so as you all have probably noticed already I have recently been trying out so many new foundations. I've been dedicating most of my time towards the beauty part of my blog, as I felt like I needed to focus a little bit more towards the beauty blogging.

I've already told you all that I'm looking for a really nice foundation for holiday which is  a weightless foundation but also very natural too... I've kind of set the bar quite high, but don't we all?

Initially, I had no idea about Kiko Milano makeup products (I never actually heard about them until roughly three weeks ago!! Sorry Kiko!!) - I discovered the products through watching a vlogger video and clearly my memory is terrible as I can't actually remember who's vlog I was watching :(!

But after watching the video I become very intrigued about the product so I started browsing the internet and finally found the foundation I was after... I had already heard that it wasn't overly pricey but according to the vlogger who I  can't actually remember she believed it was pretty good foundation....

After waiting for the foundation to arrive, I finally managed to find the time to test it out today. I do have mixed opinions, but I will show you the product a little more before expressing those!

My first impressions of course had to start with the packaging and the designing of the bottle. I think Kiko Milano, have similarities towards the Nars boxing, do you agree? That's not me saying I don't like the box of course I do I think its stunning as I like the black box on white writing. But maybe I expected something else as it's quite similar to Nars!

Without a doubt, I adore the bottle... I love the colouring and the cute little black lid which you undo to apply your foundation.

On my Ipod these photos looked really good but I am now slightly starting to doubt that so I am sorry if you can't see the picture as clearly as I can.

I started with a trying to show you all a colour match.. I find it's always better to test your foundation against your skin as you get a clear idea of what your foundation will look like...

So I simply, squeezed the size of a garden pea onto my arm to show a fair testing amount.

Before, brushing the foundation into my skin you can see from the photo that it's a pretty good match though there is a slight colour difference but that's me being a little picky...

After, using my Real Techniques foundation brush I simply brushed the foundation in to show a better colour matching.

I think it's a fair colour match, there's obviously just a little slight darker tone but it's not that noticeable if I am honest.

From my first impressions on the foundation, I wouldn't say it's my favourite but I wouldn't say it's not a great one as I believe it is. I don't believe it has a full coverage or even a medium coverage as I had to apply quite a lot which I normally don't do.

Especially, when you consider the fact that I am after a natural look so I don't want to be caked in makeup.

Though, I may potentially try to mix it with a Body Shop foundation which I have as I have a feeling it may work pretty well with that one... I will let you know on that one to see if it works!

I wouldn't rush back to buy the foundation, but it's definitely not the worst in the world.!

Before, I bring this blog to an end there's one thing I have to tell you all which I nearly forget to mention!! Thank you education for at least teaching me one thing - proof read your work!! Did you manage, to guess what little mistake I made on Instagram this week? If you did well done!! If you haven't, I bet you will head over to check now once I've told you!!

So I shared the same selfie twice this week!! I really had no intention of doing that, but you know what it's going to stay there at least  I didn't use the same caption!! ;) Has anyone else ever done that before??

Anyway, I wish you all a lovely Easter and hope you get spoiled by the Easter bunny!

Don't forget to enjoy, your four day weekend!!

Take Care For Now, Anya Marie xx

Be In Charge Of How You Feel!!...

Happy Monday Everyone!!

I am pretty eager to make sure I share as many blogs as I can do with you all while I have a week off work!

How else, could I start a blog without sharing a selfie first?... Ha-ha!! As you can see, I have gone for a natural look again today but I have used my new new Kiko Milano foundation, which I am quite happy with but I will expand on that in a first impressions blog later on! I have also used my new brow mascara which I can't actually remember what the name is... I will also share that in a first impressions blog too as I love it!!

Moving on swiftly, I found this quote on Polyvore and it literally made my day (funny how certain things make you smile right?)

I think it is a very important message to share with everyone that you... yourself,  is in charge of how you feel...

The only problem is that we all need to be reminded of this sometimes, as we allow other people to change and impact how we feel...

Why should we do that? Is it fair to let other people change our feelings?

It's hard when others make us feel differently about ourselves isn't it? It's pretty amazing to know that others can change our emotions right?

So now it's time to take a step back and remember that we get too choose how we feel, just like we get to choose what we wear and what pathway of life we choose to take!

It's your life, so live it your way!

Be Happy & Be In Charge Of Your Life!!

Much Love, Anya xx

Sweet and simple interior design ideas 🏡

Good evening everyone, have you all had a lovely Sunday? I hope you have, I hope your all ready for the new week... It will soon be the weekend don't panic!!

With having the whole week off work, I thought it would be the ideal time to start piecing together as many Polyvore sets as I can do for you all... as I haven't really blogged many in a while.

I thought I would throw in a little surprise for you all as I haven't created an interior design inspiration set in a while so here you all go... I hope you enjoy it!!

In terms of, how I created the set I have mingled ideas together and based the look around my bedroom as most of you already know from the millions of selfies I have taken in my bedroom and shared on instagram. My colour scheme is based around; silvers, golds, pinks and a beautiful wallpaper which is quite similar to the wallpaper I have included in this set...

I have also mixed in homely inspirations which have inspired me in this board to add an extra detail to the look.

For starters, I would die for a beautiful bed like that... Isn't it simply gorgeous? When I plan on moving out (which isn't any time soon!) I am definitely aiming on buying a bed just like this ha-ha it may take me a while to save for it though!

Who can live without a dressing table? I certainly can't!! I just think a dressing table adds so much detail to your bedroom, don't you agree?

Pretty wall arts & pictures are incredible and just spice up your room a little bit!

Mirrors are a must have, I love having long mirrors but pretty detailed mirrors are perfect too!!

I hope this may potentially help you if your needing new bedroom inspirations... If not I hope you've enjoyed just having a little peep at my interior design inspirations!

Much Love Always, Anya xx

An easy tip on how to style the boss look👌🏻

Happy Sunday everyone...

Due to having some internet and computer difficulties yesterday, it put me behind on sharing this outfit inspiration blog with you all. I'm really sorry for the lack of skills, I'm no computer wizz that's for sure!!

After, thinking and thinking and thinking it finally hit me late last night that I could simply just head over to the Polyvore app on my laptop and take a little snippet of the outfit set I had created... I had a blonde moment, it would have been much easier if I would have remembered this yesterday!

I shall move on swiftly, creating an easy tip on how to style a boss figure look has definitely become one of my most loved styles. So I found it easy to create a simple but stylish look.

Tip 1) When it comes to styling a boss like outfit I would say it's important to remember to keep things basic. That isn't me saying don't be afraid to include a colour as it's always nice to splash out a hint of colour. But if your struggling with piecing a look together then why not try basic colours like; black, white and grey?

Tip 2) For me personally, I would always make black the focal point colour as it's slimming and looks very important.

3) My final tip would be to focus on how you would pair accessories with your outfit to make it look super bossy! Not forgetting, to remember the elegance side of your outfit!

After showing you a few tips of mine I will now show you how I pieced this outfit together...

Without a doubt, midi dresses are a must have at the moment there literally to die for! It's a massive pointer to make actually, as the dress shows off your figure and shows a key detail of elegance, with that said surely you can see that you can't go wrong! When I stumbled across the grey midi dress I knew it would be a massive hit towards a look for work.

From simply, finding the right dress then the rest kind of comes together as I have based the handbag around the dress as I personally seem to think it's important to make sure your outfit matches with your handbag.... Which lead, me to choosing a grey handbag to match with the midi dress...

Then I moved onto deciding what coat or shoes I would pair with the outfit... That of course was pretty simple, any woman would want to show off her sassy side so of course it's time to grab the heels ladies! A simple pair of black heels are beyond perfect for your office kind of look... Then everything falls naturally as all you need is to grab your long black coat and leave the house!! ....

Oh I nearly forgot... don't forget your watch as this adds extra detail to your outfit... Alongside, your notebook and pen if it's a busy day at work your surely going to need your notebook right?

In terms, of make-up again I would aim for a subtle natural look but then again there's nothing wrong with a bold statement look? It's really down to what you want I guess... I mean the red lipstick is a perfect bold statement look for your boss type figure look but then again pairing a pale red/pink/peachy lipstick creates a down to business sort of look.

I hope this really helps you out girlie's!!

Once again, I am extremely sorry for the lateness of this blog and if anyone knows why Polyvore isn't loading onto the blogger template that would be so helpful to know!!

Lots of love, Anya xx
