My August Monthly Favourites...

Welcome August! I hope you have given everyone a great August so far!

Again, I am truly sorry for the lateness of the bl0g... It's just been a pretty hectic few months recently!

I've got so much I want to share with you all! So sit back and wait to find out all my new little bits....

But anyway I will get straight onto sharing my new favourite pieces with you all....

If you have seen my Instagram feed recently then you will have seen this beautiful new sleeveless duster coat making a feature on my selfies... I absolutely adore it!! It's such a beautiful colour and it's just so perfect for a dressing up or casual outfit! What more does a girl really want?

Plus, the price of it made me even more excited as it was only £11 due to having 20% discount at work!!

Everywhere I turn my head I see bardot tops and I am absolutely loving them!! I can't express how much I am loving bardot tops right now!! So thank you Newlook for this one!! It's so amazing, I love the fact I can dress it up or dress it down!

How on earth could I turn down a black and white striped bardot top?

With there being many discounts on Missguided recently it was most definitely time for  me to do a little cheeky shop.... I found myself falling in love for this beauty!! It's just such a simple crop top but with the bardot detail again, it looks simply incredible!!

My dearest friend Sophie, came round to mine wearing this beauty and how could I simply resist buying it as well? I just couldn't say no! I had to make another cheeky purchase online at Matalan! It's perfect to pair with some ripped jeans or just a plain pair of black jeans!!

I think it's an ideal look for an evening meal or day time outfit!!

Now this buy has made me over the moon!! I took a quick trip into Newport this afternoon with Scott to find a few things which is when I discovered this handy planner in Poundland. I try my best to be as organised as I can be!

I think planners are perfect, as you most likely know bloggers tend to find them super handy! I normally tend to use my diary but when I found this it had to leave the store with me!

I love the pretty designs on the weekly planner. The pretty birds, almost an Instagram symbol and of course the sweet ribbons!

Last Sunday, my mum kindly met me from work and showed me a new gift she had bought me and again I was so excited!! I guess, I love the little things!

I always find that the little things mean the most though, do you know what I mean?

Without a doubt, I am always super excited when it comes to having a new diary! Especially when, my best fiend and my mum put a lot of thought into finding the right one for me ha-ha!!

They know I'm a sucker for pink, so that's a must have essential in my life! Oh my god, then Lizzie found the cute little 'Queen Bee' slogan on the front! It was definitely made for me ha-ha! I love it!!

I've been dead excited to share this on my blog with you all as it's my very first Yankee candle purchase!!... I've been very lucky to have my friends and family members buy them for me! But I guess, there was just absolutely no way I could turn down this beauty!

Again, I found this in Matalan which was such a great buy! It was only £9!! That's such a good price for a big Yankee candle!!

In case you were wondering, it's called: Bermuda beach!

I'm simply lost for words with this candle! It blew me away, with how beautiful the scent smelt!

It's the perfect summery scent, it's so dreamy! It makes me imagine being down at the beach on a lovely summer's holiday!! Mmmm take me back to Majorca now....

With missing my nail appointment last week, I one hundred percent needed to do something! Who can have plain nails during the summer? Certainly not me!!

Thank god, my dearest friend Lizzie saved the day when she painted and put some gems on my nails for me! Aren't they such a beautiful summer colour? Thank you Lizzie, you life saver! I love you millions!!

So wha-la that's my August monthly favourites done for you all!

I hoped you all enjoyed reading the blog!!

Have a lovely evening!!

Discussing The SnOg/Vlog - My Thoughts & Feelings...

Let me just take a moment to share my love for this illustration I found!! Isn't it freaking beautiful? I simply love it!!

So hello Friday, which means hello weekend! It's nice to see you again!! Ha-ha!

Well I shall move on from there, I hope you have all had an amazing week though!

I thought it was time for me to elaborate on my first ever vlog/SnOg!

If you haven't yet discovered my Youtube channel or watched the video then I will leave a link right here for you... Head right to the video now and discover my channel too!

A lot of people have been sharing their thoughts and opinions on the Vlog! In fact, before I say anything I would like to say a huge thank you to: my friends, family and fellow bloggers/vloggers who have shared their positive thoughts! I love you all!

I've got to admit how nerve-wracking this experience has been but without a doubt I am glad that I posted my first vlog well SnOg! For those of you who have just tuned in to read this blog of mine, I bet you're totally confused right now! So I shall explain myself - SnOg stands for - A Snapchat Vlog/Blog! It's basically down to the fact that I prefer using the Snapchat camera!! Weird aren't I??

So anyway, I discovered so many things during the process off putting together the SnOg! For example, how long the process of taking vidoes and piecing them altogether takes! It was rather stressful but also a learning curve for me too!

I can't say that I am super confident in the Vlog - I wouldn't expect myself too be though as everyone is going to be self-conscious when it comes to posting a video online right?

At first, I was doubting if I should even share it but again like I said I enjoy taking risks and adding new additions on the blog for you all! I guess I wanted to share new things with you all.

With hearing such lovely and positive feedback from so many people, I think I will most likely add new SnOg's to my channel however I am still not one hundred percent confident.

'My place is always going to be down to writing the blog as that's genuinely what I prefer to do!'

But that doesn't mean, I can't expand my blog/vlog!! I hope you have all enjoyed it?

If you have any suggestions or comments to make then please let me know either by my: email, social media pages or the comment section below! I take all of your comments in and love listening to all your advice!

If you like the video, then please give it a thumbs up!!

Thank you again for sharing your support. If it wasn't for all of you who read my blog there would be absolutely no way I would even have the confidence to blog let alone create a YouTube Channel and Vlog!

There's so many things I found myself panicking about; the way my hair looked, if my make-up looked average, the sound of my voice and of course the way I look in the videos... But the one thing I have learned throughout this process is to not be so afraid of new things...

Embrace change, it doesn't mean you have to stick to it but at least you have lived your life and given things a go! Don't waste your life holding back!!

I love you all lots, Anya Marie xx

Hair Cut | Style | Colouring At Essence....

Hey, how are you all doing?

It's been a few days since I last posted so I thought I would let you know that there are so many blogs coming your way with many new things... It's just taking a bit of time that's all! But I can't wait to share it with you all!

I thought I would cut straight to the chase as I have been dying to share this beautiful experience with you all!!! I couldn't be happier with my hair! I love it! Thank you again Sammi!!

As you can see, I took a trip down to the hairdressers to have a slight trim and of course to go slightly blonder! Believe it or not, I absolutely love it!

I couldn't wait to come home and share my new hair colour/trim/style with you all but as I have had quite a busy week I've had to wait to share the blog... I have been dying with excitement but now finally you can see it all! I hope you like it as much as I do!!

For me it's been important for me to share this with you all as finding the right hairdresser or beautician is always difficult. I have had many hairdressers which unfortunately just weren't for me...

It is so important to find someone who is just right for you! Just remember that, as you don't want someone who isn't making you feel comfortable do you?

Not just that though, you want someone who makes your hair look incredible and if you aren't feeling that way then sadly you haven't found the right hairdresser for you.

I truly have no other words to describe Sammi, she is just honestly amazing! She works wonders! I love the fact that Sammi is a similar age to me and we manage to relate with so many things... It's so much more enjoyable when you get along with your hairdresser...

I mean come on who wants those awkward silences and long pauses where you find yourself discussing something completely odd?... For example, the weather which nobody really cares about we all just use it as a hesitation in order to stall for the next topic!!

After many laughs and finding myself feeling really relaxed my highlights were finally finished... Sammi didn't rush my hair at all she gave me all the time in the world which left me feeling really comfortable and over the moon!!

There are so many things which I love about the salon... So join me on a little tour of the salon....

What I love about Essence salon is the fact it's a perfect size... At first, it doesn't look as big as you think but little did you know it has more rooms through the back where you can find yourself having a few massages or getting your eyebrows done.

Whilst your in the front of the salon you have Sammi's hairdressing section and the beautician section at the side of the room... You're definitely going to love the decor of the salon as it's stunning!!

I have nothing but praises for Sammi and her team!! With Sammi, being the only hairdresser as Essence too she truly does an amazing job. Not only that, all the hard work she does she doesn't charge as much as you expect. In fact, her prices are incredible!!

Finding the perfect hair treatments are always important as well. I always find myself treating myself to new hair shampoo's and conditioners etc... If you find something you love, then why shouldn't treat yourself? It's not like you go to the hairdresser's every single day is it?

I can't wait to review these products for you all!!

If you're looking for a new hairdresser then why don't you give Essence a try??...

You can find Sammi's hairdressing page on Facebook which I will share with you right now.... Head Over To Sammi's Page Right Now....

I am so in love with my hair colour!!! Thank you so much!!!

Bye for now guys, I will make sure more blogs are on the way! Keep an eye out for them!!

First ever SnOg in Majorca 2016...

Well hello everybody, I hope you're all doing well.

After, a long thought process with many hesitations mainly due to being anxious of the unknown. So many questions floating around in a little bubble in my head; do I or don't I?

What will people think? Will people hate the new addition the blog? Will you hate the sound of my voice just like I do? As you can see it was a VERY LONG thought process and a MASSIVE decision to make!

Let's just hope and pray that I have made the right decision...

Why might you ask?

What  new addition have I made?

For a while now, I have dropped many hints hinting at the new surprises I have for you.

I wonder if anyone has actually guessed right... If you did, leave some comments below!

If you didn't guess then I am really happy I have managed to keep the SnOg a surprise for you! I hope its a surprise and not more like a shock for you all!

No more moaning, droning and trying to escape from sharing this blog post....

Here it goes.....

(Head back up to the top if you haven't watched my first ever vlog for you all!)

I bet you're all wondering what a SnOg is... It's pretty much a vlog, but I have taken all the videos on Snapchat. That's due to the fact I'm obsessed with using it to take my many selfies. But it's also down to the fact I prefer the way my face is angled/shown.

I guess I just fancied making it my very own rather than following every other blogger's footsteps. I hope you all like it.

So join Scott and I on a little throwback to our footage of our very own first Summer holiday!

Leave any comments below as I would be more than happy to hear your feedback...

Oh and I almost forget to tell you.... My YouTube channel is: Anya Marie Ball, if you fancy checking it out... Then go ahead and click this link and it will take you straight there.... My Youtube Page

The Struggles Of Adulting....

Hey everyone....

When we're all growing up we tend to all go through the phase of wishing away our birthday's instead of appreciating the moment and enjoying our youth.

Then it suddenly hits us that instead of blowing out the candle and wishing to be older we actually wish we could be young again.

It seems like karma will never leave us alone.

As a child, I always dreamed of growing up and buying my own place. But life just isn't that easy. The saying "Money Doesn't Grown On Trees" springs to mind.

Don't get me wrong, there are so many positives of living on your own. Although, I don't actually live on my own right now due to the prices of houses being far too expensive. Though, I'm currently living on my own for ten days with my boyfriend due to my parents being away on holiday! Lucky them! I wish I was back on holiday.

A few weeks ago, I received an email from a lady called; Jessica Williamson who works at Credit Card Insider. Due to having a busy schedule and being away on holiday for a week I have only recently managed to get a chance to reply to her email! Sorry once again for that Jessica.

I feel like it's all worked out and somehow fallen into place as I have a tad bit of experience of knowing what it's like to live on my own and cope with all the busy jobs. It's certainly a struggle! I feel like it's an eye opener for when I do eventually move away from home.

I've loved being able to plan out my day on my own, I've kind of felt really responsible for organising my day from the minute I wake up to the minute I fall back to sleep. It seems silly but when I'm laying in bed I'm constantly thinking to myself about the house duties I have to do.

For example worrying about the; laundry, ironing, cooking or making sure the dishes have been washed up and put away from the night before. I guess it's doing all the "adult things!"

With working and blogging for over a year now it's easy to see how people struggle to balance their jobs and lives out. Life can be a big struggle.

So why not take a little journey on discovering the struggles of 'adulting' with me?

1) Washing -

The first lesson of all is to come to terms with the fact that your laundry won't clean itself (sadly)!

In the adult world it's for you to know how to separate the colours from dark to a light wash. It's also your place to understand what all the different dials on the washing machine mean.... It's so confusing, I know!

2) Ironing -

Lesson number two is for you to know how to iron properly. I won't lie I hate ironing but nobody wants creased clothing do they? Unfortunately, it won't get done itself.

3) Managing Money -

Money is a big big big matter! Money is the third task to try and handle. Most of the youth are dealing with finances at university and we all know the stress of that to some degree! I can relate to the struggles as my boyfriend studies in Hull. Money is such a pain in the butt. Scott spends the majority of his money on resources for his uni course, housing and food/household items.

While, for young people or older people who didn't take the university pathway we still remain reliant on saving money for bills, car insurance or many other things.

For myself, I need to save a lot of money if I am considering to move up to Hull with Scott so that's a struggle in the back of my mind. Not forgetting, the fact I need to be able to afford to keep my car on the road amongst money other bills.

4) Dealing with being on your own -

After all, the excitement dies down and your finally settled down in your home. It makes you see how much you miss home, as you no longer have your parents around you. You don't have your mum making you tea every night. Maybe we find ourselves reliant on eating junk food instead of taking the time to eat a proper meal. We become responsible for taking care of our own health.

5) Taking Control Of Your Life -

Now you no longer have your parents waking you up for work or school anymore. It's your time to be independent and make sure you wake yourself up and leave in plenty of time! Set an alarm and don't snooze it!

I personally recommend buying a planner/diary so you can plan your day in advance. Make yourself organised. When it comes to shopping, make yourself a shopping list and only stick to what you have on the list. Make sure you aren't tempted on buying any deals as you'll find yourself short of money.

Or if you know you have things to plan for work or assignments due the next day then set aside some time in order for you to keep on track with everything. If you can't afford to buy a planner as resources certainly set you back a lot then head over to your laptop and print off a task list just like the one below. There are so many ways around things nowadays!

6) Make Time For Yourself -

Most importantly, you should find time during the day for yourself. You won't be any good to anyone or anything if you're feeling stressed out. Sometimes, it's good to take a little break. Make yourself a biscuit and watch some TV or something like that.

Don't push yourself away from friends because you feel like you can't afford to do something with them. If they're your true friends they will happily do anything with you, don't feel like you have to lock yourself away in your room all the time as that's genuinely not the case. There are so many things you could do, invite them over for a cup of tea or make a meal at yours. There's so many things!

We all still have a lot more to learn about 'adulting' but that comes with time. At least, we will be one step ahead as we learn to plan and be organised. Learn to take time with every new situation, whether it be the washing or the cooking just don't panic or rush anything.

I hope my advice has helped....

Much Love, Anya Marie xx

New Look Sale Shopping Haul...

Hello everybody, how are you all? Sadly, I've got a cold and cough (sad face)! How is it fair to have a cold during what's supposed to be SUMMER!

Can you actually believe it's the third of August already and it's still pouring down with rain? Why?!?!

I guess I'll just have to move away to Majorca or some place which can guarantee beautiful summer weather. Rather than, typical UK weather!

It seems as if I have gone off track a little so let's rewind!

With it being the apparent "summer sale" and all, of course it's a reason to shop regardless of if the weather isn't sunny! Nobody could ever turn down a sale right?

On that note I have a few new trendy picks of mine to share with you lot. I actually, can't wait to show you them as I'm so shocked with what a bargain my new buys are.

I'm waffling on now! So I'll just leap straight back onto the point of this blog before I ramble on some more!

1) Black Wrap Batwing Jumpsuit -

Well who could ever turn down a pretty and slimming black jumpsuit? I've been dying to find a new black jumpsuit for ages which fits perfectly but also makes me feel comfortable. You know the struggle of making sure you feel right and look right in an outfit, don't you?

When I came across, this beauty online I just knew it was meant to be as it had my name written all over it. That may have been partly due to the fact of the price as it was only ten pounds.

2) Monochrome 3D Floral Embellishment Purse -

For a while now, I have been looking at this purse as it's truly stunning. But I didn't really have a valid reason to buy a new purse. Until, I found the purse was in the New Look sale for only £4.50!

There was absolutely, no way I couldn't add that to my basket!

I love the white pretty flower embellishment on the front of the purse! It's just so lovely! For £4.50 who can complain?

3) Love & Lies Black Stripe V Neck Slip -

No way could I say no to this dress! It's just perfect! It came home with me... Well technically, I waited for my order to arrive at my house so therefore it didn't come home with me at all!

The best part of it all, is most certainly the price of the dress as it only cost me seven pounds! How crazy is that?

The print is so me! It's black and white, what other colours do I really need in my life? None!

There are so many reasons as to why I love this dress some of which I have already told you. Another reason is for the pure fact it's so simple to create a look or two with. While, the other reason is it's such an easy slip on dress that captures so much detail!

4) Black Floral Print Frill Hem Shorts -

Again, I spotted these shorts before my holiday to Majorca. Somehow, I managed to convince myself that I had enough pairs of shorts!

Well when I saw them appear in the sale it was a dream come true! That was before, I noticed the price as well! Only ten pounds for such a pretty floral pair of shorts! You just can't go wrong can you?

5) White Ribbed Stripe Crop Top -

Recently, I feel like I've established a slight obsession with stripes! I simply, love them! Crop top's and stripes are the way forward for me right now.

So how could I say no? I just didn't have a choice other than adding it to my basket!

Plus it was only £4! What a bargain!!

6) Petite White Ribbed Cold Shoulder Crop Top -

From my Instagram, you guys most likely already know how much I love the cold shoulder styles. When I took a trip over to Primark I found myself buying a black cold shoulder crop top. Unfortunately, they didn't have my size in the white one!

So as you can probably tell, I was really happy to find this one and for only £5!

7) Petite White Stripe Frill Trim Tie Front Playsuit -

At first, I actually thought the playsuit was black and white as that's what it looked like online. When it arrived it's actually a dark blue with dark grey stripes on white. I wasn't sure if it would suit me, however it did! YAY!!

It's beyond beautiful! I am lost for words! I love the; colours, the frilly bit at the bottom of my playsuit and the tie up detail.

That brings me to the end of my New Look shopping summer sale haul. Have you found anything special in the sales? If so; where from, how much and what have you found? I'd love to know!

Let me know if you've found this blog post interesting! I always love to read your feedback!

Plus don't forget I still have some surprising surprises for you all! Keep an eye out for them!

Lots of love, Anya Marie xx

My July Monthly Favourites...

Good evening, to the blogging world!

I am super sorry for the fact that this blog is pretty late!! As you're aware, I have been rather busy during this month but anyhow I have chosen a simple and sweet little July picture which I actually adore...

As it's the first of August today I am also going to share a little fancy August picture with you all as well...

I have a thing for bold but simple things right now so when I found this picture I thought it fit the blog quite well right now!!

I wonder if you have any guesses for the upcoming surprises which will be on the blog? If you do let me know by leaving a comment below. I think some of your thoughts might just be right but you'll never know until you start guessing....

This monthly blog, is going to be slightly different but different is good so I hope you enjoy!!

From recently, coming home from Majorca I have certainly had holiday blues! So of course, the hotel where Scott and I stayed had to make a feature in my July monthly blog.

We literally had an amazing time and couldn't have wished for a better first holiday together! It was absolutely perfect! I really want to go back to Majorca right now!!

Instead of sharing each individual make-up product with you as I have already done that in a previous monthly favourite blog. I thought I would share my favourite make-up look with you all instead...

I have clearly gone for a summery inspired look which believe it or not is my favourite look right now as it's pretty simple and pink!

The beauty products I have used to create this look are:

1) Mac Primer,
2) Nars Long stay Foundation,
3) Rimmel Mascara,
4) Zoella lipbalm,
5) Mac Bronzer and
6) Mac Beauty Powder.

It's such a simple and easy makeup routine to create!

If you have anymore questions about the look or if you're fancying a more detailed routine I will be happy to share you that on the blog. Just be sure to let me know!!

After, returning home from Majorca I headed to the Travel Agents and collected a few more brochures to take a little looksie at as I am fancying another holiday away with Scott ASAP!

On holiday, I had to have a few selfies didn't I? So I couldn't resist sharing some of my favourite holiday inspired looks with you all either so sit tight and wait for that blog he-he!

I absolutely, love this outfit I think it's pretty and it certainly stands out!

If you remember rightly, I actually shared this beautiful anklet on my birthday blog as my friends Lizzie and Tom bought it for me! I was dying to take this away and wear it on holiday... It's such a beautiful design, it's so pretty! It was one hundred percent one of my most loved summer accessory!

To follow that one, my dear friend Sophie also bought me this beautiful body conditioner from Lush Cosmetics! Let's just say, I think I have a new obsession! It leaves my skin feeling soft and beautiful! I love the scent it's just mmmm!

Since, coming home from Majorca I have been helping my mum pick up her last bits for her holiday! | A little side note,  I hope you have had a safe journey mum and Paul! Have an amazing time! | Anyway, with helping my mum buy her last few bits I found myself discovering these beautiful sandals from Mia! I absolutely adore them and have found myself quite literally living in them!

And that's that my lovelies! I'm sorry it's quite short! I promise next month, will be a lot longer as I have a few products that I am currently trying out which I am dead excited to share with you all!

Have an amazing August!!

I look forward to hearing what your guesses are!!

Take Care, Love Anya Marie xxxx
