Happy Halloween And Halloween Inspirations...

So firstly I would like to say a massive Happy Halloween to everyone and I hope you all have a lovely evening tonight! Let's hope the scary ghosts or creepy crawlies get you!

I haven't been able to blog a lot for you lately, as I have been super busy but tonight I am really excited to style a cat costume and to see the result of my Halloween make-up!! I can't wait to share that with you all!

But for today, I really wanted to just share some Halloween inspirations with you all!

If your having a party at home or your just having a few friends round either for yourself or for the children then this is ideal and simple to create! It just adds that little spooky touch to your home for Halloween and it certainly sets the vibe!

Now of course I have been thinking a lot about outfit inspirations and make-up inspirations too and if you haven't gathered I will let you into knowing a spooky secret surprise... I am becoming a cat for the night! My outfit isn't over the top, it's quite basic but nice for a fancy dress event. I bought it for ten pounds from Matalan and thankfully I can pair it with my fur black cardigan from Primark to keep me a little warmer! I can't wait to share my end result with you all!

When you see Pumpkins its definitely a certain sign of what time of year it is! I think it's definitely the countdown to the main night right? I love Pumpkins, the scary edge and vibe the pumpkins give is just amazing!

As all you know I am terrified of spiders and bugs! (Eww, even the thought makes me want to scream!!) This is definitely something that sets the vibe though and I am pretty certain my boyfriend would do this to me as a prank! But its a simple way to make the house look scary!

Now I adore these, I think they look so adorable! I know the theme is to be scary for Halloween but jam jars just excite me in general and I think they look freaky as theme is vampire blood jam jars! Great idea right?!

I am really excited now to finally get ready for Halloween!! But I had better be off and get ready myself! Please let me know what your all dressing up as! I can't wait to hear or see what you have decided to wear!

Have an amazing Halloween everyone!!

Lots of love, Anya x

Stop Trying To Be Someone Else's And Be Your Own...

I wanted to share this quote with you, I discovered this quote on my Instagram feed a few months ago but the time wasn't right to share it with you all. I wanted to find a specific moment to share this as I wanted to find an emotion, or a meaning or something that would have an impact on you all!

At work yesterday, I finally found that meaning, feeling and emotion and it was definitely the time to share the quote with you all. I bet your wondering how or why I am sharing it now, I am just about to tell you why! I met a lovely lady at work yesterday who genuinely looked really happy, then she told me that she fakes a smile on a regular basis (we are all caught doing this at some point during our life right?)

It hit me that this doesn't have to just be about a partner it could be about family member or even friends. As during life, we all try to fit in with a friend or with a family member but do they do the same for you? Probably not no!...

It's natural for everyone, to try and be something their not and that's part of life.

I got the feeling that the lady was trapped in a situation that she didn't really feel comfortable with and that's quite natural as I expect we have all been through a situation like this.

We have all most likely been in a situation where we put someone else before ourselves and what's important to remember is to ask yourself would they do the same for you?

Sometimes, it feels like we become that person because we do everything for them and they end up relying on you. It's draining trying to be someone your not and you can almost feel yourself becoming lost in a life that isn't yours right?

From a past experience, I know that I tried so hard to be someone else's rather than focusing on being myself and the best thing I did was to walk away and remember who I was and who I am.!

At the time, making a big step like that is a massive risk well it seems it at the time but it was the best move I made as you can learn new things about yourself and reflect on the past in the future! (I know, I love looking back and wishing I changed things but I never wish I would change this!)

When you have been with someone for a long time, it's almost hard or even scary to go from being trapped with someone to being all on your own. There maybe love you still have for a person, it's only natural to feel that way but the question is, is that love really worth fighting for?

The important message that I have for you all is to take a step back and think are you being yourself or have you forgotten who you actually are?

In relationships, you must remember that your two people to some degree, not just yourself but you should only be two people in a happy way and you should only ever be connected to your partner because your in a relationship with them you should never be refereed to as the same person.

Your you, your yourself, your identity! Nobody can ever take that away from you so everyone remember that! If your not happy, you need to remember who you are to then be happy with someone else!

Don't let someone take you away from yourself!

Lots of love, Anya x

Two Autumn Sets πŸ‚

Two Autumn Sets πŸ‚ by anyaaa04 featuring fragrance candles

Since I have been back home on the Island from Hull it has definitely been time to grab those jumpers of yours.!

It was really chilly in Hull and when I next go to see my boyfriend and our new friends I will definitely aim to wrap up warmer!

So Hull, you have inspired me to focus on oversized jumpers and styling the warmer look for you all!

Who doesn't love wrapping up warm in a cosy jumper though? I know I do, so I have paired two styles to show you how I would style a jumper look differently!

I love wrapping up warm but I always find myself feeling a little bit too warm and that makes me irritable. So I am so glad that there is crop jumpers available as you can't go wrong with a crop jumper. I paired the crop jumper with skinny black jeans and a browny black leather jacket as it just screams out that stylish autumn look! Plus the shoes, look stunning with this outfit don't you think?

You can't go wrong with a grey shirt like jumper which is baggy but a nice baggy paired with skinny black jeans as I just think it's a beautiful look to wear! Then of course pairing it with the leather jacket, the black handbag and the to die for shoes!

Plus the candles, just set the vibe for autumn I think! I've found myself this year becoming obsessed with candles and smelling the beautiful scents! I can't help myself!

Let me know, what's your favourite style!

Discovering Your Perfect Shades...

Finding your perfect shades are always a massive impact towards your look aren't they girls? We don't like to leave the house with a dark lipstick or a lighter foundation do we? Everything has to match and look right, so follow me with some top tips to discover your perfect tones!

There are so many different tones to learn about so I will give you some brief tips to work with, which hopefully will help you apply your make-up easier than before.

Follow me to find out whether your  a light, medium or dark tone!!

Hmm, like I said there's so many different shades! (It can be confusing at times!)

Cool lights -

I thought I would show you my skin tone as it would be easier to make some comparisons too! But as your all aware, I actually don't dye my hair and my hair naturally changes from season to season which I'm sure you can tell from just looking at the two photos I have shown above! (strange isn't it!)

Top tips for being a cool light skin tone - the hair colour is a massive give-away as usually you will tend to have light and pale hair so blondes or ashy blondes! Eye colours are another tip as you will often find cool shades have blue, green or hazel colours! (beautiful colours I think!) Skin colours are of course milky white with a hint of pink tones! People who tend to burn easily are definitely a cool light skin tone! (I always admire people who have a darker skin tone as I always burn and never seem to actually find myself tanning!)

Cool mediums -

Now a major top tip is to look straight for the colour of your hair as your usually looking for brown or dark blonde hair. Which is where, my skin tone becomes tricky as during the colder seasons I almost become a bronde (my hair becomes darker!!)

(My hair is actually a lot darker than this, I will share a selfie for you all soon but this was the only one which was slightly darker than the ones above!)

You will find that your eye colour tends to be either brown or blue, with occasional hints of grey or green too.

Another hint to look for, is the colour of your skin tone if your skin tone is a milky white and you don't tan easily then this is most likely your perfect shade.

Perfect shades for light, medium are pink tones, blues and nudes.

With me having a light and pale skin tone, I am going to keep it quite simple by showing you two skin tones for darker skin tones (as yes I am really jealous!!)

So of course, I had to share Beth's skin tone with you all as she has the perfect skin tone which is to die for! (Well I really love it anyway, I wish my skin tone was darker like hers, so that I could wear brighter shades! But we all have imperfections, don't we?)

Beth's skin tone ranges between a cool dark and a warm dark. I would definitely say that this is based around the seasons impact too!

So let's take a look at the cool dark skin colour first -

Cool dark's trademarks are the following, you will find that your hair is either a deep brown or a jet black as you can see just like Beth's! You will find that your eye colour will either be: bright blue, cool grey, green or hazel! Whilst, your skin ranges from the palest white to the darkest black! (For everyone, who doesn't know Beth yes she does use fake tan daily! But fake tan definitely makes you feel so much more comfortable within your skin doesn't it?!)

The best colours which will suit you if your this sort of skin tone just like Beth then definitely -  blacks, cool purple, red or burgundy colours!  I know Beth will be reading this and thinking straight away that is her down to a tee!

Let's move on and take a look at the warmer dark tones -

The lighting is a lot darker in this photo of Beth which makes it a lot easier to tell if she is wearing fake tan as well as focusing on her make-up! (And yes of course she is wearing fake tan!)

So how can you recognise a warm dark skin tone? Easy, follow these clues!

Initially, look straight for your hair colour as this will be a massive help if your hair is chestnut brown, mahogany or black then that's a massive starting point for sure.

Focus on eye colouring too as that's a massive give-away too, if your eyes are brown, hazel or green then your on the right tracks!

You will find naturally your skin colouring is a lot darker than blonde's! It's easy to identify between Beth and I as her colouring is a lot darker than mine even without the fake tan (Surprise surprise!) I would say Beth ranges in-between a nice olive skin colouring!

Dark colours like purple and a bright flaming red lipstick are definitely must haves for this skin tone! Beth would certainly agree with this, as you can all see with her red lipstick!

Anyway, I hope this helps you all identify how to check what skin tone you're!

Lots of love, Anya

Night out inspired look

Night out inspired look

A night out inspired look, so with me traveling up to Hull and spending a few nights there of course my boyfriend and his new friends had to take me out to experience what the night outs in Hull are like and let's just say Hull certainly knows how to party!

Every girls worst fear is underdressing for a club, right ladies?

We don't always want to freeze to death on the way home but we also don't want to be too hot in the club. There's no in between I swear!

So every so often I always post a night inspired outfit as I just love to create new outfit ideas for all of us.

Black is a must have colour for going out, it's just such a bold and classy colour to wear.

But blending black with different colours is always the way forward so I paired my black heels, black skort and my black handbag with a tanned lacy crop top.

With it being autumn weather too the tanned colours manage to work well!

Let me know what you think of the look!

An Exciting Day Traveling Away To Hull For The Weekend

So I've had a few days of choas, I woke up at roughly about on Thursday morning at 6.15 am (shocker, I hate waking up so early, don't we all?)

Then it was time to finally get up and get ready at about half six, (being girls we always have to make sure we have packed everything as well as making sure we have done our hair and make-up too!) Though, I don't really tend to wear too much make-up when I am travelling as it's not a good look if you end up smudging your make-up and trust me that always happens to me!!

Fast forward a little bit and I am on the boat! My nan came with me which was a little surprise as I didn't think she would be coming with me but I am sure it was any excuse to go shopping wasn't it nan? (Ha-ha just kidding! I love you lots nan!)

Every moment is sacred and me and my nan love taking selfies, just like everyone right?

Isn't it such a beautiful place? Have you guessed where I was yet ?... Yeah that's right LONDON!! I absolutely love London, so so pretty! I swear it's every bloggers dream to live there, it's definitely mine!

Finally after the nine hour journey I have arrived in Hull! It will be wonderful to see my boyfriend again and to definitely go shopping!

I will keep you updated, I can't wait to share the next few days with you all.

Lots of love, Anya x

A taste of the red carpet inspired look πŸ’‹

A taste of the red carpet inspired look πŸ’‹

Red Carpet you say?

I wanted to share you this red carpet inspired look as we have a lot of red carpet events coming up soon and plus the red carpet look has always been a favourite of mine.

There are so many different styles and interpretations made towards fashion to show off celebrities take on fashion. I must admit, I love looking at new red carpet looks as I just love seeing how people style an outfit, don't you girls?

So the red carpet look is all about elegance and looking glam!

Would you go for a daring red and black look or stick to the elegant black and white look?

I love both of the looks personally, I think there so stylish if I wanted to make a bold statement I would definitely wear the red heels, but if I wanted to keep it subtle but still stunning I would go for the white heels. Aren't they both beautiful looks?

In terms, of accessories I would keep it simple go for a clutch (mixing colours is a good look at the moment so don't keep it all the same colours as you don't have to be afraid about adding different colours now!), maybe pair the clutch with a statement necklace with earrings to match or keep it even simpler by literally keeping your look bold and elegant with just a clutch and your heels.

Make-up, for the red carpet is always a beautiful look to have! Keep it simple by having a natural inspired look but don't forget your longer lashes and bold red lipstick to match the carpet! To add a little dramatic but natural look!
