MY AUTUMN 2018 TOP FAVES/CURRENT AUTUMN TRENDS & TIPS...

I can successfully say, I feel like I've completed quite a lot today... Woo-hoo!

I mean, it's been a few weeks since I've posted online and I seem to literally be on the ball with everything today... Kind of a pun there as surname is Ball but hey ho.

What with it being, Autumn officially now it's fair to say Autumn Fashion is the centre of our Shopping Lists as well as being the centre of all our shopping centres.

It's pretty clear the big Autumn jackets followed by the big fluffy socks and warm big cardigans are our essentials right now with the warm but crispy Autumn weather.

In saying that, we shouldn't forget the beautiful homely inspired Autumn pieces... It's about this time of year that I always bring out my warmer duvet and head to town to purchase the following two items; big fluffy warm blankets/throws to snuggle into whilst typically watching Bridget Jones or any Rom Com films and Autumn inspired scented candles for the darker nights which always make me feel the urge to run for a bath as it makes me feel super cosy.

On that note, it's fair to say a big welcome to the Autumn season... For those of you who wished to know exactly when Autumn began it was Saturday the 23rd of September 2018 and it ends on the Friday the 21st of December just in time for the Christmas period...

Like every warm up for the season of course, I share 'Must Have Essentials'... I guess it's kind of a regime for the blog.

When I initially started blogging back nearly four years ago now, it used to be a massive hit for readers alongside also being an inspirational reason for why I began blogging too. I gathered my inspiration through reading and creating blogs similar to this as I grew to know how everybody loves to seek; guidance, inspiration and potential trends that we individually like to create our own little twist to.

So, it's a Seasonal tradition on the 'Anya Marie Ball' blog!

Hold up... First, it's time for an Autumn inspired selfie. I feel like, Nude Inspired colourings are the essential colours for Autumn. I know, we all go for the bright red lipsticks or deeper but more bolder shades during this season but I kind of enjoy applying a more Nude inspired colour during this season too.

Subtle is also very beautiful too.

We all know that it also wouldn't be an 'Anya Marie Ball' blog without a selfie or a mirror selfie right? So for today, I thought I would post two for today... Must be your lucky day ha-ha.

Of course, there is a point to why I have shared this particular selfie on this blog... Anyone guessed what it could be?

It could be down to the fact, Gingham and Dog-Tooth patterns are trendy as right now...

You got it!

Autumn 2018, is all about re-introducing big bold patterns and prints that we all used to wear. Just a few years before, the blogging life Leopard print was a massive go to in my closet and then it disappeared for a few years but it's back this year alongside many other prints...

I've got to say majority of the come back prints are a massive hit with me.

What's your opinions on the return of the prints?

Right now, it's all about flowy sleeves but tighter wrists. Is anybody else obsessing over these details right now? I love them. It kind of takes me back to when I studied History as a GCSE as it reminds me of the Victorian period... So it's a definite yes to the cute sleeves and white trim black jumper which isn't a big jumper but cosy enough to keep you warm to pair with a Gingham styled pair of trousers for smart or casual wear.

You can find this at... Matalan!

With the weather being a little more crisp now, you can certainly feel a chill in the air but we still have a little hint of the warm sun. So, it's not time to ditch the bardot style tops yet... Pairing this top with a simple pair of black jeans and a cute black blazer would look beautiful for this season.

You can find this at... Matalan!

My love for Gingham prints are pretty big this year, I find the print stunningly beautiful. You can go the whole hog and buy the trousers to match or you can pair it with a simple pair of black jeans... Either way they look truly stunning!

You can find this at... Matalan!

How could I forget the perfect cosy socks that I always tend to pair with my Chelsea boots or to wear around the house in the colder seasons? I simply, couldn't.

 Head over to Primark!

I mean, we all need a Snood don't we? With being anaemic, I feel the cold really quickly so having a Snood is a must have for my wardrobe.

 Head over to Primark!

From stating earlier on, that big throws are essentials for the colder months. Here's my beautiful grey throw, which for sure makes me want to stay wrapped up in bed all day.

 Head over to Primark!

With grey being a massive hit for me right now it was a straight in the bag kind of purchase. To top it all off, I'm certainly a little Sassy.

 Head over to Primark!

For those of you who enjoy doing your nails and need a nail file at the ready, then head down to Primark.

 Head over to Primark!

With my hair being extremely thick, I constantly look for new hairbrushes etc. But this is a must have as it was really cheap but also it detangles my hair very easily.

 Head over to Primark!

I mean it's Autumn of course, we all accosiate warm baths... Right?

So taking a trip to Lush Cosmetics! is for sure needed. I feel like, I could often find myself lost in buying in that store as it's so gorgeous with the surroundings of different scents and beautiful selections of Bath Bombs etc...

Without a doubt, I am in love with this picture that I captured in the Basingstoke store a few weeks ago.

I hope you've enjoyed the blog and I look forward to hearing what purchases you have all made too for your Autumn period,,,

With Lots of Love,

xx

When The Storm Crashes...

When The Storm Crashes...

Did you hear that they said it was coming?
The silence should have told me everything.
But I guess, I just couldn't see it.

The rain was always there but it often was found creeping against the window cills, waiting to hit...

Did she really know that it was there?
They certainly knew.

The beautiful light glimmered over her face.
Would it take long before the light begun to fade?

Her character was once so fierce but now it's so small.

They questioned why but she didn't know.

The lights dimmed and the storm grew stronger. Everything was heightened; every emotion, every pain and every cry.

Will she be able to fight the Storm?

Her mind knew she could but her body was weak.

The Sky grew darker, then came the flashes of Lightening followed by the big shatters of Thunder...

The sounds made her jump.

She hid, in the darkness praying she would find a way.

Faces past her as she continued to hide in the shadows.

Could they see her?

Would she find a way to battle her way through?

She was crumbling, her heart broken and her loved ones were far away.

She held her heart, praying the thoughts of the ones she loved would make her clutch onto the good times.

Would the good appear once again?

Would she ride the Storm?

Or would the Storm make her runaway until she lost everything she ever was?

Would she see the light again?

They laughed.

She cried.

Everything began to shatter in front of her.

She fell to the ground, tears streaming down her face.

The thought of not knowing who she was seemed to break her. She cried.

She wished she was with her mum.

She looked up to the sky and there she was.

Her mum, held her hands out and whispered in her ear:

"Annie, you're brave and strong you can do this. I believe in you."

She looked up the Sky and she believed.

She listened for the laughter but it never came, she grew stronger day by day until the Storm blew away.

She believed in herself and she found her way back home.

When the Storm attempted to crash she stopped the crash and she believed.

She began to sparkle again. She could look over her shoulder and she smiled.

The Storm wanted her to fear, instead she believed.

Winchester's Turtle Bay's New Menu Launch/Event Evening...

I mean, after the amount of Cocktails Turtle Bay handed me last night, I kind of feel like it's already Friday... So Wednesday, I welcome you!

I was thoroughly thrilled when I was invited back to Winchester's Turtle Bay as luckily for me I was invited to the opening launch. I honestly loved it and to be asked back was truly amazing...

A massive thank you must go to Siobhan and the team at Winchester as they were amazing and super friendly.

From time to time, a mirror selfie has to appear every now and then.

It's fair to say, Culotte styled trousers/jumpsuits are currently right on trend now so they had to make an appearance.

I'm loving NewLooks jumpsuits right now.

As it's Autumn on the way I feel like, nude colours are the one.

Turtle Bay in Winchester, has such a shabby chic and retro styled touch too it.

The vintage style is so trendy right now too.

Mixing work with your personal life is let's say a bonus!

2 41 on Cocktails, go down nicely too.

Spicing the ribs and duck rolls up, as Turtle Bay has a little spice to their dishes unless specified not to.

Followed by, a Chicken burger that was very tender and Sweet potato fries which were to die for or the sweet potato fries with cheese on which Aaron had.

With Turtle Bay treating Aaron and I for the evening then why not treat ourselves to deserts. As per Aaron had the chocolate brownie, but I thought I would be a little adventurous and try out the toffee and banana cheesecake which sent me to heaven and back in simply one mouthful.

Busy busy busy as I headed down to Turtle Bay...

I always find the time for a quick little snippet of my outfit.

Don't forget to check out Turtle Bay's new menu launch guys...

Much love,

xxxx
