My June Monthly Favourites....

Can you actually believe, that we're half way through the year already? Before we know it, it will be Christmas once again! Not that, I am complaining as I do love the Winter season... I do have to say that, I am so disappointed with the weather at the moment :(!! Where is the summer at??!!

I feel I owe you all an apology considering the fact it's 23 days into June and I haven't shared my monthly favourites with you all yet! So I am super sorry!! June, is always a super busy month for me!! But fear not you guys, my monthly faves are right here now!!

Technology, isn't at all my thing!! I have no idea, what the different Iphones do... However, I most definitely have to share my new phone with you all as it's just incredible!! It takes such clearer photos, which I have been dying to share with you all!!

From the amount of times, I have told you all about my preparations for going away to Majorca in July with Scott its finally the final month for me to make sure I have got everything! Luckily, I have my last few days in the beginning of July to get some extra bits but the most of this month has been based around my holiday!

Clearly. you can see I have been browsing the internet for pretty summery pictures of Majorca!!

This cut out sleeve print dress has become one of my favourite summer pieces for this year! It's incredible, the print is drop dead gorgeous and super trendy. Not forgetting, the fact I found it in the sale in H&M - how could it get any better??

Shoes, shoes and more shoes! I seem to have more platforms than clothes and as you all know that's certainly saying something!

A girl can never have too many shoes though can she?

I've been looking for the perfect light weight shoes to wear or pack for my holiday and I have found several but these are definitely coming to Majorca with me.

Summer fashion is all about pretty sandals and shoes... I simply, can't get enough! With working at Peacocks, I love seeing all of the pretty fashionable shoes that come into the store! As soon as these beauties came in they had my name all over them. I think they're the perfect match for a simple summery look...

I told you I am a sucker for shoes and platforms... It looks like these will be having to tag along on holiday as well thank you to Boohoo!!

Moving onto, some pretty new tops that I have found and deliberately bought for my holiday... cut out sleeves are certainly hot right now aren't they? White is pretty perfect for the summer as it matches with any colour or print!

Simple but bold statement crop tops are always super cute and sassy for the summer! I think you might remember that last year I had similar style tops but with selfie wrote on them. I find them perfect to pair with printed trousers, a simple but casual look again thank you Boohoo.!

I am totally the girl who buys the same top twice just in a different colour! Should I be willingly admitting to that one? I'm not quite sure! But yes, how could I simply turn down the black top too?

Body-cons are everywhere at the moment so how could I not buy one? I actually bought mine from cheap and cheerful Primark... It creates such a simple look if you were to pair it with a pretty skirt or trousers.

It isn't summer without a detailed, trendy pair of
shorts right? I adore them!! I love the pretty pom poms at the bottom of the shorts and the eye catching monochrome
print!

My next must have item for my holiday has to be this stunning off the shoulder sweet daisy print playsuit... I absolutely, adore the stuff Boohoo have online at the moment, I would definitely head over to have a little browse... If you fancy, you could click the Boohoo link at the bottom of my page...

My second favourite playsuit is again from Boohoo, I just love it!! It would look so good with a tan, a fedora hat, sandals or platforms! I love it!!

I feel like I shouldn't be sharing these two products again on my blog as I have shared it previously on my birthday blog... But I can't stop obsessing over them both!! I just love the scents!!!

What is a girls best friend, during the summer period? Yeah, that's right a bottle of dry shampoo!! I don't find it necessary to wash my hair every single day but I do like to keep my hair looking healthy and fresh so I always find this super handy!! Wherever I go my dry shampoo won't be far behind me!!

I absolutely adore, creating summery inspired make-up. It is literally the best, it's such a pretty look! When I bought the above beauty product from Mac I knew it would be super perfect for a summery inspired look as it's pretty and pink!! Every girl needs her pinky beauty powder don't they??

Well that brings my June monthly favourites too an end.... I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has read my blog, I honestly appreciate it so much!! My hand on heart, thank you for spending your time to read my many words and few pictures ha-ha!!

I can't honestly, believe how fast the year has come round. It still feels like yesterday, when I wrote my very first monthly blog!! It's super crazy! And a year later I am still here sharing my blogs with you all!!

Thank you so much for keeping up to date with my blogs!!

I hope I haven't bored you all ;)!!

See you next month when I review my July month favourites!!

Much Love, Anya Marie xx

Sweet summer inspirations 💕

Hey everyone, how is your Saturday going so far?!

Well I hope! I thought I would open this blog differently compared to my other blogs! It's always nice for a little change, isn't it?

With summer right around the corner, it's definitely time for some summer inspirations right?

From opening, the blog sharing sweet summer inspirational photos you can see how desperate I am for the summer weather to appear and stay!

It's actually, only 29 days until Scott and I go away on holiday to Majorca! - So I guess you can kind of understand, why I am searching for summery inspirational pictures etc! I guess I am hyping up for the holiday!!

It wouldn't be a 'Anya blog' without a selfie would it? So here's a little selfie I took yesterday morning, using my new Iphone!! Which can I just say takes amazing photos!! Plus, I think it really focuses in on my makeup a lot more now, don't you agree?

You all know, I have recently posted my second look book (the June book!) I had so much fun working on fitting the outfit inspirations together and sharing my fashion top tips with you all I just couldn't resist turning down another opportunity to share a few other summery looks!

So follow me for a little looksie at some summery inspired outfits of mine!

Sweet summer inspirations 💕

Now for those of you readers out there, who have read my blog from day one! You will know, that it's officially been over a year since I first started blogging! I know, it's crazy isn't it? I never thought, I would reach over 20,000 views in a year! I didn't even think I would manage 100 views but I have and I am so so so grateful!

I created a blog similar to this blog which I am currently writing - which is when I discovered the Polyvore app! I become, really obsessed with the app and created many summery inspired looks! Many of which, were based around my fashion sense at the time! Pretty similar to this outfit above! ^^

As you can see, my love for pink has never gone! I do have to say, I think I have become a lot bolder and even braver with trying out new looks and even new colours... But mainly black and white ha-ha!....

Anyway, before I get carried away with myself, you can see from the photo above that I have created quite a simple pinky and pearly white look! It' a pretty basic but sassy look to create, all you need is: a detailed bardot crop, a high waisted pair of shorts, sunnies, matching handbag and a pair of platform wedges!

It is literally that simple!

Stripey dream

My second look, is very simple for a casual summery day time wear or even for a casual summer's evening wear!

I always think, dressing and styling simple looks create the most effective looks! I could be wrong, but they always seem to stand out a lot more in my eyes!! Sometimes, the cooling down look is the stylish way to dress!

All you need for this look is: a stripey crop top, a high waisted pair of mom style jeans, the new fisherman look platforms, backpack, sunnies, bronzer, a fedora hat and your lippy!

Stylish jumpsuit

When you think of the summer months, what kind of colours appear in your mind?

For me, I base my summer colours around: pinks, prints, bright colours and mainly whites!

So when I stumbled across this beauty, I couldn't resist pairing it with: red heels, summery inspired makeup and a beautiful clutch bag!!

It's the most beautiful evening look I swear!

A sprinkle of red

When I saw these pretty red dresses, I knew I had to mingle them both into one look as I simply couldn't choose between the two!

I adore the off the shoulder look I think it's very fashionable and certainly trendy! On the other hand, I love the strap bow detailed dress too as it has a certain 1980's feel towards the look!! Either way, both of them would make a superb look for a day time or evening wear!

Nothing wrong with some monochrome

As soon as I styled this look on my Polyvore app, I fell in love! It's one hundred and ten percent me! It's black and white with a hint of red or pink depending on which lipstick colour you choose to go for!

It's an easy look to pull off for the summer but it's an incredible sassy sort of look! It has a date look written all over it that's for sure!!
Beach style

My final look for today has to be  the simple beach day kind of look!

By now, you should all know that I am obsessed with prints and colourful shorts! I have thousands upon thousands in my wardrobe I just can't get enough of them!!

What I love about the printed shorts, is the fact that you can dress the look up or down but they still look beautiful regardless of which way you pick!

Grab a simple black or white crop top to go with the shorts, a pair of sandals or platforms and your looks complete!

I hope you have enjoyed reading a few extra sweet summery outfit inspirations of mine!!

Enjoy the weekend everyone!!

But before, I end this blog!! I would like to say a massive HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO MY DADDY PAUL! Thank you for always being there regardless of the time! The endless amount of times you have picked me up when I've had a few too drink! Teaching me many of your tricks!! They will forever and always be in my heart!

I love you always! xx

My June Look Book...

Well June, we're way into you!

When searching for a pretty June inspiration picture, I came across this one and simply fell in love with it! Isn't it so different to what I usually would go for? It's pretty and blue! When I think of June, I always initially think of the summer and the beach so I think it's a perfect fit!

With May's look book taken a cheeky hits, I thought it was definitely time to start writing and creating another look book for you all!

So far, we have had some very pretty blue skies! Let's hope we can finally hold onto that!!

As you all know June is my absolute favourite month! That's down to the: warmer weather, pretty pastels, bold prints, innocent pearls and the fact it's my birthday month! How could it get anymore perfect? Ha-ha!! Like my mum always says, milk it for what it's worth!

With the summer right around the corner, the summer fashion trends are hitting the stores just like lightning!

I guess, it's the perfect opportunity to piece together a few outfit inspirations for you all!

Style 1) Pretty Pink Pastels -

Pretty pinky pastels 😘

The summer, is all about jumpsuits and playsuits for that matter! However, pretty pinks and pastel shade colours are the perfect match for a summer look!

If you're looking for the perfect evening outfit whilst your on holiday or even for just a date with your man then this playsuit is the way forward!!

Pairing the playsuit with a mix of the same colour and a white handbag will look stunning!!

Style 2) Cheeky Culottes -

Cheeky Culottes 😉

Just because summer is around the corner, that doesn't mean you should ditch your darker colours! If you're anything like me, you will wear black and white all through the summer! Why not try mixing a grey kind of silver colour with your look too? It will definitely catch people's attention as well as spicing up your look!

Culottes are everywhere at the moment, from the high-street to the catwalks so why not invest and buy yourself a pair? Pairing a detailed or simple crop top with a printed pair of culottes will look smashing!!

To add a extra dash of colour, I would go for a bright red lipstick....

Style 3) Red Print Cut Out Sleeve Dress -

Cut out sleeve dress 💕

Firstly, I was over the moon to find this dress on Polyvore! As I have been dying to share this new buy of mine with you all since last week when I stumbled across it in H&M! It's truly beautiful!! When I found it I couldn't believe my eyes! Then I saw the price tag and thought what - it's only £7! I was for sure heading to the checkout before I knew it!!

It has everything sassy and fashionable for the summer trends right now! It has the: bright colours, with the pretty elegant prints, followed by  the cut out sleeves which are on fire right now!! How could you go wrong?!

I have paired the dress with a pair of platforms or a pair of sandals, either way it's still a drop dead gorgeous look!! I would definitely go for bold colours match with the dress!

Style 4) Cut Out Sleeve Bandage Dress -
Cut out sleeve bandaged white dress 😘

Summery trends, always start with basic colours which of course starts off with the colour white!

White is definitely a hot colour for the summer!

I won't lie, I have based this look around a date inspired outfit as I think white and red is perfect for that kind of look!! It's definitely an outfit to show off for the summer!

If you pair this beautiful dress with a pair of red heels, a simple plain white handbag and a bold pair of earrings you can't go wrong!

Style 5) Downtown Chic Look -

Downtown Chic Look 😍

From the amount of selfies, I have recently uploaded I am sure you all know by now that I have an obsession with white jeans, checked shirts and black cut out sleeve crop tops!

It's a look which you can pull off during the day time or even during the night time!

To dress the look up, I would tie the checked shirt around your waist. Just like you have seen me do, in my outfit selfies! Followed by, pairing the outfit with a pair of platforms, a red lipstick and a bold colour nail varnish!

Style 6) Rocking The Red Edge -

Rocking the red edge ✌🏻

Pretty prints and daring bold colours are definitely where the summer is at!

Pairing off the shoulder crops and rolled up ripped jeans with platforms is definitely a must have look for your summer wardrobe! A fedora hat adds an extra special touch to the look too!

During, the summer it's all about daring and wearing! That's my opinion anyway, so I hope I have opened your eyes up to new styles and hopefully encouraged you to have the confidence to try out new looks!!

MY 19TH BIRTHDAY SHENANIGANS...

Well hello there, it's been a fair few days since I last posted a blog! I deeply apologise for that, I've just been super busy!! As you all probably know from my social media, it was my birthday six days ago on the fourth of June!

Before, moving onto telling you about my birthday shenanigans I would like to take the time to say a massive thank you to: my family, Scott and my friends for making my birthday such a treat!! It genuinely was such a lovely day! Not forgetting, all of you lovely followers of mine - the birthday messages from you all honestly made my day! It left me smiling all day, so thank you!!
Even though, it's a fair few days since my birthday I couldn't resist sharing this with you all as it's pretty and pink!! It's totally me, right??

As you previously saw from the first two photos I woke up to balloons and pretty banners, which Scott had decorated for me the night before my birthday!! I was super excited when I went downstairs the next morning!! Isn't he so sweet?

From the amount of selfies I have already shared with you, you can clearly see it was definitely a day for selfies!!

With the amount of gorgeous birthday gifts from; my family, friends and Scott of course! I couldn't wait to head out to dinner, I was starving and craving a Chinese!

During the week, I had heard several whispers about plans but it wasn't until my birthday I found out my parents and Scott had arranged a meal at the Chinese with some friends and family!!

Due to not taking my new Iphone out with me the photos are a little crappy!! But I had visions of me dropping it on the first night of me using it so it stayed at home!!

I'm a sucker for Chinese, my diet literally flies out of the window!! I absolutely adore Chinese food! From the photo, you can see I had chicken satay followed by sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice! - I am actually craving that right now too!!

After a lovely birthday meal which turned into the typical embarrassing moment when the restaurant lights dimmed and I saw the little light coming from the candle on the cake which was followed by everyone singing: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU.... I suppose, it wouldn't be a proper birthday without that happening though would it?? I always remember, that child like feeling when you would get all embarrassed and if you were like me you would go bright red like a tomato! Do you remember that feeling too??

We finally headed over to Moon Spoons to celebrate over a few drinks... which kind of ended up being more than a few as I had a slight hangover the following day :(! Thank you to everyone, who met us all to! (PS - Patsie I think we look like twins now as we have similar hair!)

It was an incredible night!!

I've kind of left the best part to last, have you figured out what that could be??!! Of course, sharing my presents with you all!!

It looks like I have an obsession with Zoella right? Luckily for me, I discovered that Zoella's new beauty collection was going to be released a few days before my birthday!! I couldn't contain my excitement so I told Scott then he told my parents and well it looks like I have a few of the new pieces already! Thank you so much mum and Paul!! But a massive thank you for also paying for my holiday to Majorca! I am super excited!! I can't wait!!

(Plus thank you to Scott for the new book - it looks like it will be coming away with us to Majorca!)

I have been spoilt by all of you lovely people in my life!! Thank you so much for a lovely day/evening! I can't wait to feature all of these beautiful gifts on some of my other blogs!

Lizzie & Tom - thank you so much for the beautiful summery inspired presents!! You know the key to my heart Lizzie, it's definitely candles and strawberry sweets! <3

I was gutted you couldn't make it to the evening gathering but my poorly bunny was ill and it looks like I am suffering with that cold and cough too he-he! <3

Scott Jacobs - Well, well, well what can I say? A massive thank you, for spoiling me rotten and treating me like a princess all day! I am in love with my new charms, book, phone case and all the other pretty treats!! <3
