A Winter Berry Mix Smoothie...

I can't actually believe that its been the first week in January already, time certainly flies by!!

Anyway, as you all know I have become pretty obsessed with Tumblr and Instagram photos that are posted as they inspire me so much and I just love sharing my favourite ones with you all!!

Just because Christmas is over, it doesn't actually mean that Winter is over and done with yet as Winter actually finishes on the 21st of March!! So Scott and I thought we would create a little Winter Berry Mix Smoothie, which my nan loved as she ate the rest before we went back for seconds...

Tip 1) All you have to do is choose the fruit or products that you want to  use!! If you want to follow what Scott and I used then all you will need is the following:

1) Berries, - we bought a berry mix from Waitrose as we found it a lot cheaper than buying each individual fruit.

2) A banana, if you like you could use more than one banana it depends how strong you want your smoothie.

3) Yoghurt - we used a peach yoghurt as that's my favourite type of yoghurt but again it depends on what you would like.

4) Vanilla Ice cream - adding a two little scoops of ice cream creates the perfect thickness and icy-ness to your smoothie!!

5) A big bowl - in order to blend your products together.

6) Blender - make sure you have a blender or an actual smoothie maker...

Step 1) Blend your berries together until you make almost a sauce like texture.

Step 2) Then simply chop the banana into pieces and blend away until the banana disappears.

Step 3) Add 3 or 4 big spoons of yoghurt and mix again.

Step 4) To add a little sweetness simply add 2 or 3 spoons of sugar and mix it all together.

Step 5) Before, finishing your winter berry mix add one 1 or 2 scoops of ice cream.

Step 6) Then simply find some desert dishes and get ready to eat or drink your delicious winter berry mix smoothie...

I hope you have fun making your smoothie desert!!

Much Love, Anya Marie xx
