A Few Beauty Obsessions Of Mine...

Welcome back everyone!! I mean, I should probably rephrase that and say I'm back ha-ha!

How are you all doing? Well, I hope.

What with being a way for a few weeks, it's  fair to say I'm back and for sure I have a lot to share with you all...

I wonder if you have any suggestions on future blogs? Let me know, as I'll do what I can!

What better way than to come back and share a Beauty based blog...

I mean come on glitter and pink how could you possibly go wrong? Not forgetting, the accessible 'A' style cute little statement bag. Love it!

These are definitely, a must have for me!

You can purchase these from...

It's been a little bit different for me as I have stuck with Real Techniques for as long as I can remember but with recently turning twenty one, I fancied a change.

So let's welcome.... ECO TOOLS to my make-up bag!

For years, as I said above I have used Real Techniques brushes especially the angled eyebrow brush however it was time for a change and it was definitely a good change. I'm currently obsessing over Eco Tools, the eyebrow brush kit comes with a brow brush to neaten your brows and create more of a shape. Alongside, an angled eyebrow brush which creates a defined shape.

Mmmmmhmmm!!

Can we just appreciate how gorgeous the packaging is? How stunning the marbled packaging against the gold and pink cover! Wow! Not forgetting, the fact the brush is truly beautiful with the white on gold! Love it!

Again, replacing my foundations brush has always been Real Techniques but again this has become another obsession too!

It's fair to say there's a collection here!

An interesting collection, as we start from the; Buffing brush, Powder brush, Fan brush and Contour brush!

They all have amazing features and are absolutely stunning!!

I definitely recommend the Masod brushes for sure!

For all of the above brushes that I have shared you can buy from.... BOOTS!

Keep your eyes peeled as there will be many more blogs heading your way for sure!

I hope you've enjoyed the back!

See You Soon....

xx

New Locks, New Hairdresser, New Home & A New Me..,

Afternoon everyone,

Image result for tuesday tumblr

How beautiful has the weather been the last few days? It's ridiculously making me excited for the summer, I can't wait!

You all know summer is my favourite season!

Anyhow, I have noticed you have been wondering what I've been doing recently so I thought I would dedicate a blog towards my new look as I have gone slightly blonder again due to the warmer weather heading our way. Besides, I have been dying to show of my new hairdressers in Winchester as it's beyond amazing!

I always tell myself, if your fancying a pamper day then take yourself to the hairdressers as without a doubt I always feel so much better once visiting the hairdressers! Anybody else agree, with me?

Finding the right hairdresser is essential, it's like finding your best friend! Every girl needs the right hairdresser trust me!

One of my main worries about moving to Winchester was thinking about finding a hairdresser and I've found the right one for me!

So thank you Sarah!

How stunning is the hairdressers?

Without a doubt I didn't fail at feeling pampered by Sarah and her team at Toni & Guy on Southgate Street in Winchester... In fact, I was slightly spoilt!

We all deserve it though!!

As you can see Sarah and her team most definitely spoilt me!

I'm truly overwhelmed with the healthiness of my hair right now and the length is spot on for me right now!

I have seen from recent posts you've been wondering what products I use so I thought I would mingle that in with this blog...

I've currently been using Toni and Guy's blonde hair care shampoo and conditioner. You can find these products on Superdrug or head to your local Toni & Guy!

In terms of how many days do I leave my hair before washing it, it genuinely depends on the condition of my hair. I would like to ideally say I tend to wash my hair every other day or at least two days.

However, if I have curled my hair then I can get away with at least five days.

Then again, I wouldn't follow my directions as everyone's hair is different.

Always feel confident with your looks, don't be afraid of being you!

Your,

Reaching 40,000 views...

Good evening ladies and gents, how are we all? Hopefully we're all still enjoying the late Sunday vibes...

My Sunday has become amazing and ever so surprising!! I am quite aware that the blog title has probably already given away why I am surprised and feeling truly overwhelmed...

However, I will elaborate further.... Today, I have reached over 40,000 views on the blog!

I'm literally overwhelmed, I'm so lost for words!

I know when I read this blog post back later on tonight I will wish I have added more to it, rather than adding lots of waffle! Though, I promise you I am actually so lost for words... Where do I begin?

So I have decided, to take a little blast back to the past... A year and a half ago when I first started blogging! I never ever once believed it would reach this far!

Let's take a stroll back to my past... I remember the first blog being based around my eighteenth birthday party! I'm trying to remind myself, how I must have felt when writing that very long blog post... At no point did I ever believe I would still be here writing and it's now a year and a half on-wards... A lot has happened, I'm so proud to say I don't regret anything or sharing anything with you all... In fact, I thank you all for continuously reading and sharing the blogs!

I'm amazed with all of the support!

It's about time I sat down and thanked you all, instead of individually thanking friends and family members. I thank you all! I thank every reader who takes the time to read my blogs! My American and London audience, thank you! Other world wide audiences too, thank you! It's amazing!!

Life is all about leaning... Making a chance of something small, being able to grow as a person and making the best of every opportunity there is! I repeat and can't stress enough how important it is to take the chances, don't sit around... go for gold!

When I started the blog a year and a half ago, I remember sitting in my lounge believing I would get so little views and I actually believed it wouldn't come too much... I believed wrong. I didn't believe in myself, I didn't believe I could do this! The difference is, you can... We can! You can do it!

All it takes is to believe in yourself, to set standards and accomplish them!

Be daring, be brave but be you!!

I chose this photo wisely... So many thank you's go towards my beautiful best friend Lizzie Narey for capturing it!

If you see an adventure and a future ahead, set sail towards it... Don't wait behind, thinking there will be another chance! Go, go, go!

Before, closing this blog post... I have met so many beautiful people since starting the blog, alongside being honoured to work with some incredible people! I wouldn't have been able to do this without all of your support...

So thank you!

Here's to another 40,000 views to come hey? Ha-ha!

Cowes Week 2015

So guys, I have been asked a few questions lately about where I am from and where I am based so I thought this would be the ideal opportunity to show you where I live and to tell you guys about some current events happening!

I am sure you have all heard of The Isle of Wight Festival and the Bestival, right? Well, I live on the Isle of Wight where there are great music festivals and other events that take place.

Currently, Cowes Week is taking place which is known as one of the longest running regattas in the world! There are daily races which take place, I will show you some pictures of a race that happened today thought it was a fun race!

Many people come to Cowes week to take part in the races, some of the competitors range from Olympic and world class professionals to weekend sailors. Yeah that's right there is certainly a massive range of people who get involved!

Cowes Week isn't just for the sailors, it's for everyone and anyone! There are stalls ranging from Beauty, Lifestyle, Fashion, Food and Entertainment what else could you get?

I must admit that this is  my first year of actually attending Cowes Week, as an Island girl I feel like a bit of a let down but as my mum is a teacher we always tend to try and make the most of the Summer holiday's and go away! So every year, I have been on holiday whilst Cowes week has taken place!

It was certainly nice to experience one of the most talked about events that is held where I live, I can't wait to go again during the week!

As you can see above, the photo shows how the Cowes week isn't just a serious boat racing event it's fun as well!

There are also the other places that you can visit whilst going to Cowes week, like the local shops and cafe's that are there! I certainly did that for sure, though whenever I get the chance to go over to Cowes I always have to have a Tiffin's strawberry milkshake! I love them, the strawberry milkshake is one of my favourites!

The weather was perfect for the boat races today, the sun was shinning and that definitely made the atmosphere today! People were smiling and cheering everyone on, or dancing near to the live music area!

I was really excited to go to Cowes week for the first time and I will definitely be returning this week before it ends! As you can see, I had to take a selfie to remember the moment, everyone has to take a selfie though don't you?

Anyway, I will be blogging more for you guys in the next couple of days!

Take Care.

Lots of love,

Anya x

Make sure you always take a pair of flat shoes on a night out girls!

Hi everyone,

Firstly, I would like to say thank you for taking the time  to read my blog and I hope you enjoy reading my blogs! I also hope that maybe you can relate to some of the blogs that I write as I think it is very important to relate to what a person feels or thinks, right?

My first blog for you all is going to be about shoes... I mean every girl loves shoes right? I can't get enough of shoes!

In fact I shall let you into a secret of mine, I have found myself buying more than two pairs of the same shoes before... There's nothing wrong with that is there?

I'm the type of girl who has to really like a pair of shoes before buying them though... I guess I'm just a little bit picky but when I do buy a pair of it shows that I really love them!

To me, I think that shoes bring out the confidence in me and my outfit! I think if your wearing the right pair of shoes it makes us feel so much better! Don't you agree?

Recently, I have just turned eighteen and I was worrying that I wouldn't have a dressy enough pair of shoes for the evening. Then I had the worry of whether I would manage wearing my heels all night!

Always have a back up plan girls and take another pair of shoes with you!

Thank fully, I did manage to survive the night but my feet were killing in the morning, so girls learn from me and take another pair of shoes with you for the end of the evening!

During the day, I wore flat shoes that is definitely another good tip! Make sure you give your feet enough time to relax for the night!

Even though my feet did it hurt in the morning, it was definitely worth it as I loved my heels! Sadly, I didn't take a picture of me in them at my birthday but I have another picture of me in them to show you! My heels were from Primark and they were only fourteen pounds... Yeah that's right fourteen pounds! What a bargain right?

It was a bargain that I couldn't resist besides the fact that the heels were very stylish and currently on trend for the summer period!

My heels are summery as they're white and they have a bigger heel which I tend to go for in heels personally as I have a poorly ankle and they support me better!

What do you think guys? Do you feel better with a wedge heel  or are you used to any types of heels?

About Me...

Hi there fellow bloggers or just the readers,

I have finally managed to have time to upload my first blog. I thought that after I had finished my A level exams I would publish my first blog! So here it goes!!

I thought my first blog would be the time to give you readers a sense of who I am and what I am like. I hope you all like me and can relate to my blogs and interests.

My name is Anya Ball, I have recently just turned eighteen.

I have always wanted to be a journalist ever since I was little, which is why I am very lucky to publish my articles online with my local newspaper and website which are called: The County Press and Yoppul.

I am a natural blonde with blue eyes and I have a high interest in fashion.

I am currently still studying English Literature and Language at sixth form. However, I have just finished studying Film studies and Fashion studies as A levels.

I am definitely a lover of the colour pink, my friends and family often mention how I seem to own or wear a lot of pink items. It wasn't long ago since I have had my bedroom redecorated as it all used to be pinky colours. Though I managed to finally persuade myself to change the colour scheme and I went for a silver, gold and a little blush colour of pink. So don't worry pink lovers, I haven't completely ditched the colour pink!

I am very family orientated, I love to stay at home and have lazy days doesn't everyone though?

Though, I do like going out with my friends as their all a major part of my life just like my family too! I will make sure I post a few photos to show you all an insight into my life. Plus I will add links to my social media's, so you can take a look if you wish too as I would love for my readers to be a part of my social feed as well as my blogs!

Despite that, I know that I have previously mentioned how I write articles for the County Press and Yoppul. I am very fortunate enough to be in this position to have my work published and to be given this opportunity. I am very grateful, if you would like to take a look at my articles then here is the website: www.yoppul.co.uk - you will find my work by either searching my name at the top of the website or by finding the tags of my name. Though, I am later going to post all of the articles that I have written for the website on here!

I am a huge fan of Capital radio, I listen to mainly all the music in the pop charts. Though, I must say that one of my favourite artists at the moment is Jon Bellion. Jon Bellion, isn't as well known yet however I discovered him with my friend Jordan. I have certainly become a massive fan!! What type of music do you listen too?

I am a lover of films, clearly shown by the way that I studied an A level in Film studies. My film genre has certainly developed since I have taken Film studies as I had to watch films such as: "Scarface", "Goodfellas" and "The Departed". I must admit since the two years of studying film I have grown to adapt to the different genres of films. Though, my favourite genre will always be romance! I mean who doesn't like ''Dirty Dancing'', ''Grease', ''Cinderella'', ''Bridal Wars'' ... The list could go on and on! What genre of film is your favourite?

I must say that all of the ''Spider Man'' films are also favourite films of mine too! Everyone loves a superhero don't they?

Anyway, I think that's enough about me and what I am interested in for tonight. I will make sure I add some photos to show you an insight into my life, along with my social media links.

I would just like to say thank you for taking the time to read my first blog and I hope that you have enjoyed it! Though, my next blogs will be more interesting than this as I am either aiming to write about bad experiences in relationships or 10 top trends of the summer fashion...

Actually, why don't you let me know what you would prefer? I will leave it up to you to choose!!
