Hello May, you beautiful thing!! Let's hope you bring the sunshine for us all this month!! I think we all deserve a sprinkle of sunshine with the weather we have all had recently!
May is one of my favourite months as it's the month before my birthday which always excites me but I must not forget that it's a busy month for birthday's in my family so it definitely keeps me on my toes!! Not forgetting, the fact it's Scott's birthday on the fifteenth of May too - I knew he would want a special mention....
It was actually my aunties fortieth birthday yesterday too - so again I hope you had a great birthday and enjoy being old from now on ;) only kidding!!
With it being my day off today I thought I would try something different for the blog... I know you love seeing new things and I love sharing new things with you all....
So I thought I would create a look book for you all! I simply create a series of different looks which I've styled for you all to have a little peek at. I have chosen looks which are mainly styles for the Spring fashion and selected a few looks that are perfect for May wear.

Style 1) Down Town Chic -
The weather recently in the UK has been certainly strange so I have stuck with something that will keep you warm but chilled enough to know it's not far from summer weather... We all know of and have that sort of clothing right?
To create a warmish kind of look, I always tend to go for a ripped jeans look as it adds a little bit of edginess to your outfit.
If you're feeling a little bit warm and not fancying a longer top or jumper, (I know have definitely ditched the jumpers for now!), I would try going for an off the shoulder top as they're very trendy tops at the moment but they also don't trap you in with the heat!
If your like me then you will still be holding onto your long black coat and black boots... I have found it too chilly to let my coat and boots leave right now!
To add a splash of spring I would use your bronzer and a nude or pinky lipstick...
Style 2) Monochrome Mix -
The summer weather is all about pretty little playsuits but we love jumpsuits too right? They're not just for the colder months, you can spice a jumpsuit up enough for spring and summer wear too!
If you're fancying something simple for the cooler evenings or even for an afternoon wear then I would definitely spice up a jumpsuit! What's even better is the fact prints are around, you can't go wrong with monochrome it's classy and sassy!
As you can see I have paired a casual black handbag with the look or a simple but sassy black clutch bag it's completely your choice!...
Grab your heels and show them you know how to rock a monochrome mix!
Style 3) Nice & Easy Neutrals...
This outfit inspiration has one hundred percent been inspired by the weather today!! As soon as I have finished this blog I am definitely heading outside!!...
With the summery vibes taking over our minds, I definitely had to feature a nude off the shoulder dress as people are crazy for them...
It may still be a little chilly outside for the dress but with the way the weather is supposed to be the next few days I would definitely give the dress a try...
It's one of the most simple looks to wear as all you need is the dress, sandals/heels, a simple summery inspired bag and your lipstick!...
To add extra sass, add a fedora hat!!
Style 4) Khaki Funday -
With Coachella being right around the corner most of the fashion inspirations this year have been based around the Coachella look.
I won't lie, I have found myself becoming so addicted towards Coachella outfit inspirations...
So I guess Coachella is to blame for this look. I have fallen in love with the culottes outfit inspirations as well... Have you?
For a simple May inspiration, I would pair a khaki crop with a white print pair of culottes and grab your black heels... You will be the sassy queen of coachella that's for sure!
Style 5) Lace Up Loving
We all have a thing for lace up clothing right now don't we? I am one hundred percent admitting to loving this style as I think it's so adorable! One of things, I love about lace up clothing is the fact that you can create so many different looks with such a simple style...
Whether it be a down town look or a glamorous style for the evening it's definitely a must have for your wardrobe!
Pair a sweet little lace up dress with a black pair of platforms and a black clutch to match you'll be strutting your stuff!!
Style 6) Playful Playsuits...
Pretty play-suits are definitely on my May look book... It may not been warm enough right now to wear the look but I've heard it's meant to be pretty hot the next few days so I couldn't resist styling one for you!
With the summer on the way, the race is on trying to find the most sassy and delicate looks! I always find pretty pastels are the way forward especially with play-suits how can you possibly resist?
I love the white look for play-suits as they're incredible!! I love how you can brighten the colours up and be quite daring with the looks you choose!! I have chosen, peachy coloured heels as I would totally be the the girl who would combine pink and white together!
