I am literally so excited to share with you my favourite monthly products! Why am I so excited? (Have you guessed it yet?) YES!! That's right it's finally NOVEMBER which means that it's finally the countdown to CHRISTMAS! (YIPPEE!) As you can probably tell I am really excited! I love Christmas!

Isn't this picture so pretty? It honestly makes me so excited for Christmas!

That's not the only reason why I am excited though... Can you think what it is?... (The excitement, I have right now sharing this blog with you all is so big honestly I genuinely feel like running round my house screaming with excitement!)

It has officially been five months I have had my blog, as
I have wrote five monthly product blogs for you! I know I combined my first one which was June and July so technically that will be six but I have only wrote five so I have been blogging five months to date! HOW EXCITING!! (I have the biggest smile on my face right now I swear!)

Anyway, I will get on with it and tell you all what my favourite monthly products are!

1) Rita Ora - Glaston-berry

As you probably already know, I am obsessed with Rita Ora. I think she is very confident in showing her individuality through her fashion and make-up! I love that, it really encourages us all to be comfortable and confident in being ourselves! When I found out about her Rimmel beauty collection, I was the first in the queue at Superdrug honestly! (I couldn't get to the store quick enough!) I love her beauty collection, this nail varnish is actually one of my favourites. I love the brightness of the colour! It reminds me of the summer but it also has the Christmas berry vibe! It's definitely an essential in my make-up bag!

2) Body Shop - Berry Love

I adore Body Shop! I have always loved Body Shop make-up and my mum has always encouraged me to use Body Shop products as she loves them too! My mum actually bought me this lipstick last Christmas, as you can see I haven't used much of this one because I have been saving it for the Autumn/Winter season as I think it's a perfect match! The colour is beautiful, it's a perfect shade for my skin and to show off the beautiful berry with a touch of pink for the cooler seasons! I simply love it!

 3) Zoella Let's Spritz Body Mist -

How could I have a monthly product blog without having a Zoella beauty collection being mentioned? Exactly, I couldn't.! I just wanted to share this body mist with you all as it is literally one of my favourite body mists at the moment! Let's take a massive pause and focus on the designing of the bottle - I love the lace effect the bottle has as well as the mix of colours with a cool mint and pink colours! I just love it so much! So much that I have already ordered another bottle so that I won't run out! The scent is so beautiful. It also reminds me of a summer's day, as you all know that I love the Summer season so I can't ever forget it when I am using this beautiful body mist by Zoella.

4) Crescent Bay - Hollister

We all know how much I love the Hollister Crescent Bay shower gel and the spray! I love love love them! So I just wanted to share with you my new favourite shower gel, it takes me back to that summery day which always leaves me with a smile!

I hope you have enjoyed reading my monthly blog again!

How To Body Brush Correctly...

As you all know I love trying out new beauty routines and sharing them with you all...

I always find that dry body brushing is one of beauty's top secret! Sometimes, I find that my skin becomes quite dry which is why I use a lot of body creams to stop it being dry but I also use a body brush. If you do it regularly, you will reduce dry skin and leave your body with a smooth finish.

As you know I adore the Zoella beauty collections and I always use the Zoella Candy Cream Body Lotion.

Finding the time to use the body brush is always important, you only need to have between a minute to three minutes and it will make your skin so much smoother. If you make it a regular routine you will find your skin to be silkier than usual.

You could use the brush before or after a bath or shower and be sure to to keep sweeping in a circular movement.

Follow five easy steps....

1) Start at your feet and always brush upwards towards your heart.

2) Use firm anti-clockwise movements over the tops of your legs, hips and bottom part of the back.

3) Try to brush with light circular strokes, always being sure to keep moving upwards from your stomach to your chest.

4) Use long strokes from the lower back upwards and short downward strokes over the shoulders.

5) Finally brush in long upward sweeps from hand to elbow and then elbow to shoulder.

Top Tip - I always have suffered with rough elbows and they always make me feel really conscious about myself as they make me feel so much older but I have found a beauty tip which I always use and it makes me feel so much better. Simply rub the body brush around your elbows again in circular movements and apply hand or body cream twice a day.

I hope this helps you all!

My Halloween Look Last Night...

From my Halloween Inspirations post yesterday I actually told you all what my costume was and I was a cat for the night. I wonder if you have all been wondering what my make-up would look like...

I didn't want to go for the same typical look that a cat inspired make-up would go for. So my beautiful make-up artist for the night my Beth Reynolds went for a completely different look.

So here we go this is what my make-up looked like for Halloween last night. I went for jet back eyebrows as my costume was black as you can see! (Sadly, I forgot to get a mirror selfie of the whole costume but I will probably upload a photo of the outfit on my Instagram soon so you can see it all!) I wanted the black look to be the main focus, so we then decided to use a grey coloured eye shadow but blend it in with my black mascara and black eye liner. The foundation and the bronzer were pretty much the same as usual but we went for a flame red lipstick to match my red tartan shirt that I wore around my waist. With the lipstick we created a blood like dripping feature to add the dramatic impact for Halloween.

What do you think of the look? I thought I would also share some other photos with you all.

I hope you all had a lovely evening celebrating Halloween too! Please let me know what you think and please tell me and show me your costumes and make-up! It makes me really excited when I get to see some of your amazing ideas.

How To Apply Foundation...

As it's my holiday off work for a week this week, I have definitely got more time on my hands to release helpful blogs for you all! (Well I hope their helpful for you!)

I wanted to share some helpful beauty tips with you as I am definitely one of those girls who love finding out more beauty tips of how to apply make-up! I always think they come in handy! Plus, sometimes I am not always that sure if I am applying my make-up correctly but that's only because we always compare our make-up to other people and think that theirs look better than ours. It's the way we work isn't it?

So I thought I would take the time and tell you how I apply my foundation, I hope this helps you all!

Everyone can make your skin look like it's the perfect skin it's all down to choosing the right colour to match your skin tone and learning how to apply it.

So follow a few simple handy tips of mine to achieve flawless skin, everyone needs a bit of help don't they, even models need some guidance?

Finding the right colour foundation always plays a massive impact on your make-up! So follow my tips!

1) Make sure you remove any existing foundation, it's always best to judge what works better on bare skin.

2) Try and select three or four shades that you think are closest to your skin tone and apply them in thick lines from your cheek bone to your jaw.

3) Make sure you check in day light as day light always has the best lighting. The shade that fades is the right one for you and your skin.

4) Before you buy, wait for a little while to see how it reacts with your skin.

5) I always find myself having two or maybe three different shades as I am quite pale skinned and it is always a lot harder to find the exact shade to match. But also, it's due to the seasons changing as well it's always best to have a slightly darker shade so you can mix it with  your paler foundation to give a slight tanned look

Now follow me and take a look at my foundation step - by- step...

Top tip - Before you begin, always pull your hair back and make sure you wash your hands. You don't have to but I would always advise you to cleanse and moisturise your face.

1) Make sure you dot your foundation onto your forehead, cheeks, chin and nose. You can either use your fingers, a sponge or a brush it's whichever you prefer using. I have actually tired out all three methods but I now stick with using the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush, it's just perfect for full coverage and it applies your foundation more smoothly I find leaving your with a fuller coverage.

2) Make sure you blend the foundation outwards and across the cheeks, forehead and nose. Ty to fade it out gradually down to the jaw and towards the hairline. Make sure you don't blend it upwards as it will clog in your facial hairs and eyebrows leaving you with not a very nice look!

3) I always find using your ring finger or a concealer brush again whatever one you prefer using. Your ring finger has a lighter touch than the index finger, to dot concealer around your eyes and gently pat it in. Make sure you don't put it on your eye lids, as it will cause your eye shadows and creams to crease.

4) You don't have to follow this step but I always think it's always an extra handy tip to make your make-up look even more amazing than before. All you have to do for a better blended and more even result, sweep the clean side of the sponge or use a spare brush if you have one and sweep it over your face, then finally do one last check in natural daylight. If you look good in this light, you should look good in any type of lighting.

I hope this helps you all! Leave me some comments below please as I love to hear your feedback!

Lots of love, Anya x
