Suffering With Being Anaemic...

Hey...

Before I begin writing this blog I would just like to take the time to thank those of you who are in my life who encourage me that it's okay and support me by showing me continuous love and care!

You know who you all are! I truly mean it when I say thank you!

So it's now two months since I started writing this post... As you can see I have been busy documenting my on going battle with being anaemic for quite a while.

It's something I've wanted to capture perfectly as once I have spoken about it, I never truly wish to speak of it again unless I am helping others.

It's something you can live with, you shouldn't fear it to that degree as those who suffer with being anaemic are lucky it's not something that isn't curable. We're lucky! It's important to remember this and to be appreciative of that!

I suppose, this is one of the reasons why I found myself giving up on attending Doctors Appointments because I believed the help should be given to more serious cases.

It's still an illness and for those who suffer with Anaemia or B12 Deficiency you will understand more than anyone.

I found that this was the perfect opportunity to talk you through how I have felt or currently feel when I have my bad days but also when I have my good days!...

Though, it must be said that it's not an easy thing for me to do which is why I have waited two and a half years to share this blog post with you all as for me as a blogger it's vital that I share my point from a writer's perspective but also as a human being.

I'm also here twenty four seven to respond to any messages you guys have in regards to this blog post as it's important your listened too and most importantly with that not just listened too but heard!

As, being listened too is slightly different to being heard due to the fact I have had many appointments at the Doctors surgery where they're aware I have a low iron deficiency and a possible case of B12 and a long list of medication to take for being anaemic but as your symptoms grow so does your patience and believe me it's very thin as they throw another blood test at you which you know will lead to another appointment and then after that appointment another assessment.... BLAH BLAH BLAH!

It's a constant on-going battle!

I'm sure there are cases like this all over the world so please contact me to discuss your situation!

It's an endless vicious circle.

Many of times, I have been in tears bed bound with sickness or dizzy heads!...
People judge you, they stare at you and point the finger suggesting you aren't unwell your just lazy. They have no idea, until you suffer these symptoms then they can judge you!

I eventually realised that I shouldn't worry myself over silly comments from those who have no impact on your life.

Being bed bound, isn't as easy as you think it is. I found myself becoming irritated with myself and I truly lost confidence in myself too.

If you hadn't figured out by now, I deliberately opened the blog with this photo as it captures opinions towards myself.

It shows me on a good day!

When I'm 'me' 'myself' having a good day, I am everything a normal twenty year old girl is.

Being a blogger, does mean I am under the public eye and initially I struggled as I pushed myself way too much now I have learned that I can only do so much.

If I wish to wear a hoodie and no make-up I will. If I wish to not publish three or four blogs a week because I am feeling too poorly then I won't though that makes me sad, I have to advise you all as well as myself to ensure that you put your health first! That's very important!

I know, this blog post is a little jumpy from time to time but there's a very good reason behind that as I've not intended on it being perfect for the message I am wishing to portray with this blog!

My message to everybody out there is to not judge someone. To not jumped to conclusions. Just because somebody looks perfectly fine in a selfie or in person it doesn't mean they truly are.

For example, every day I put my makeup on too hide my pale complexion and my baggy eyes to show the world that I am okay but to tell myself I am fine as well!

Sometimes, you need to allow yourselves to not be!

I may be the normal teenager who goes out with friends on late night drives or who heads to Essex in the search for Towie stars but realistically I am still the girl who throws up in the morning or the girl who can't physically sleep till early hours of the morning but still rushes up for work. Or the girl who suffers with vertigo on a day to day basis or the girl who can't seem to finish eating a whole meal. I'm that girl too!

At high school, early stages of my anaemia had started but I wasn't aware.

Incredible amounts of weight-loss had started taking place, though I wasn't ware until my family and close friends had concerns. I thought it was because I had been dieting and taking an interest in my sport classes. Incorrect! I was fasting like typical lazy teenagers do, we all go through it with the belief that you'll look like Kate Moss and keep that appearance for the rest of your life.

The shock of knowing I had damaged my body hit home, following an illness which is reoccurring.

I openly, admit that I struggle with eating... I clearly do have an eating disorder though I tend to try and avoid believing or accepting I have. I do eat, I struggle. You have to remember that being brave enough to know you have something wrong is an achievement as only then you can become well again.

Since, high school I moved to sixth form and gradually my anaemia grew worse. My close friends, mainly Charlie and Sophie were aware and honestly Charlie become a rock to me as she encouraged me to attend hospital/doctor appointments and often offered to attend them with me to keep a healthy balance though I was far too stubborn and had the belief that I could gradually fix everything and not continue to eat small quantities or feel dizzy or fall asleep at the table constantly.

The pressures that pile on your body are huge! We truly, don't realise until something unprepared for happens!

I now feel confident in talking about being anaemic as I feel empowered to help others or to try and lead them to other pathways rather than following the steps I took as I buried myself away believing my weight would pile back on and I would stop feeling tired twenty four seven and start sleeping instantly at night times as well as eating normally again!

I feel happy to know that it's okay to take my medication and freely speak of it without the fear of your peers judging you as they aren't even around anymore.

I feel free to walk into a crowd and express that I struggle with certain things as that makes me more of a human than hiding myself to become someone I'm not!

Constantly, we see images of celebrities where they've been warn down because they have gained a few pounds or they have worn a hoodie out in public without any make-up! SO FREAKING WHAT! GET OVER IT!

There are many stories inside the book rather than the ones you just presume are there from the front of the cover. Start reading instead of judging the front!

With now disclosing how on a day to day I feel, I truly hope I have opened up many doors to those of you who have suffered or who still are suffering with being anaemic or any other illness to have the courage to tell a loved one or anybody for that matter of how you truly feel!

Be brave enough to say your not feeling well as that's when things can be fixed again!

P.S -

Thank you all for taking the time to stop and listen! It's taking me a while to create this blog post as a few changes have been made here and there. I haven't shared many photos in this blog as I have tried to keep it as simple as possible to share many messages with you all!

I pray this has helped you to understand my life a little more and my battle. But also to help yourselves!

Much Love As Always.....

A Little Catch Up With Me....

Welcome September, I hope you give us all a lovely month to look forward too!!

Image result for september tumblr

Firstly, when I found this pretty logo for September - I most certainly had to post it on the blog for you all to see!! I think it's absolutely adorable!

I love the slight touch of Autumn feeling the picture shows off! What with the, browns and golden colours mingled together? I love it!!

Which leads me onto some of the reasons for this blog.... I know I haven't shared a lot recently, I know you all know by now exactly what I am going to say! It's because, I have been super busy with so many amazing things that I am dying to share with you!!

I think it's important for me to share one of my reasons for not sharing so much recently and that is down to the fact that my dear Scott heads back to university again soon. So as you all most likely know it's vital for me to spend as much time as I can with him before he leaves again!!

I just want you all to know that I will be back into my normal routine of sharing at least three of four a week as soon as possible!! So watch out for that!!

But also I can reveal a few little hints for you, with starting a Youtube channel up recently I have put the majority of my focus into creating new vlogs and surprises for you!!

Though, I have been creating new fashion features for you all as well!!

Other than that, my mouth is shut ha-ha!! You will have to keep your eyes peeled and see what makes a feature!!

Again, I am sorry for the delay - I do apologise!!!!

Questions and Answer Blog... #AskAnya ...

Hello everybody....

I hope you've all had a lovely Thursday and are enjoying what's left of the evening.

Before, I start my q and a blog... As you all know, yes I have recently had a hair cut! It's not a massive change, it's only a trim but I had at least an inch cut off! I'm kind of loving it but hating it at the same time! You know when you have mixed feelings about something, yeah well I am certainly having that!

I have considered ordering some extensions as I'm one hundred percent missing my length not that it's overly short! But at the same time, it's healthy to have a change! Plus, with the summer coming it's easier for me to just pin it up and head out to the beach!

I've had mixed opinions, some of you prefer my hair curly and some of you prefer it straight... I thought, I would leave it up to you guys to have your say... What do you prefer, curly or straight?

So before I get too distracted, I shall get back to the point of this blog. I've had quite a busy week so fat what with; prepping new blogs, keeping up with questions, working or even workingout at the gym which I will get onto later. From which, you can keep up with on my social media's. That's if you can't wait for a new blog post from me!!

What brings me to blogging another q and a post? Well, would you look at that I am already answering questions for you all. I guess I kind of haven't blogged many q and a's and it seemed like you all liked it last time. What's that saying again, it went down like a treat? (I'm pretty sure it's that. Hmm, I have my thinking cap on!)

So yeah, I guess I really fancied posting a q and a for you all. I was in the mood for it! Not only that, I think it really encourages me to reveal a lot more about my life which normally won't tend to appear on a beauty or fashion blog!

Okay, so as I have said beforehand the questions are picked at random through my social media's!

1) Why and when was the loudest you have laughed?

This was a pretty hard question to answer as I tend to laugh a lot. Pretty much, in every situation! I most definitely, tend to laugh well giggle in awkward situations. I guess it kind of puts me at ease.

Even though, I hate my laugh it's horrible... I dread it! It's certainly not cute!

There's so many situations where I have laughed a lot but on the spot I guess I only have a few seconds to think this one through... I'm going to stick with the day where I met a friend and we were preparing for a party later on that week it was fancy dress I think...

Charlie and I, have never really been keen on fancy dress parties.. again I find it socially awkward as not everybody dresses up so it's always a hard one to dress for. Well anyway, after a long day off shopping we decided to head for lunch. I had it all planned, as I fancied a Subway that's all I kept going on about so eventually we made our way there to then find out it was shut! By this point, I was ready to eat my arms! So we made a quick decision to walk over to Morrison's and grab a sandwich. I was so thankful to have something by this point, as I grabbed the sandwich out of the box the other one fell straight to the floor.... By this point, you can imagine my face - I actually considered picking it up as I was so hungry but of course I didn't! I was so devastated. The laughter from both Charlie and I in the end were enough to make everybody leave the shop!

From a recent memory, well I should say moment as it's just happened. I can hear what my friends, family, Scott and work colleagues are thinking right now! (Typical Anya!) After, doing some shopping on Monday I attempted to sunbathe for an hour. By the time, I came back inside my right arm was bright PINK! Embarrassing right?

Yes Scott. I look like a drumstick!

2) Do you sometimes pee with the door open?

Right so I have completely turned this blog post into a #EmbarrassAnya instead of #AskAnya! If I'm going to be completely honest yes I do but not in public toilets!

If I am in my house on my own or if I know everyone's downstairs then why not? But for girl's we always tend to go too the loo together don't we? So if I'm close friends with you I will let you share the cubicle with me or I will pee with the door open but only if it's not in a public place. (Gross Anya!) But you guys wanted to know!

3) Who was the last person you text?

The last person I text was my friend Jack Print regarding his birthday! Happy birthday once again Jack. I hope you had a lovely day!

4) Do you have a happy place?

I have so many happy places, I'm struggling to think of just one so I will share a few with you!

I really like my bed, my bed is definitely one of my happy places. My bed with; blankets, Netflix and occasionally a few snacks.!

My other happy place is certainly having a nice relaxed bubble bath. Isn't that feeling amazing after getting out of the bath?

But overall, my happy place is to be at home with my family and Scott. Of course, Scott's family too their kind of mine as well as his now! I love to see everyone smile in a homely environment. It's the best feeling in the world!

 5) What is my favourite thing about Spring?

Ooh - a tricky question! I love so much about Spring it's the warm up to my favourite month. It's hard as I could answer this based around beauty or fashion related answers or as an overall. I would have to say the lighter sky at night, it makes me really excited for the summer to come.

In general, I would say for the fashion and beauty side it has to be the pretty pastels and brightly pallets which you can't seem to get away from!

6) Are you excited for the summer?

Yes, one hundred percent yes!! I'm dying for the summer!! Literally, as my arm is already bright pink! Ha-ha! (Good one Anya!)

You all know, how excited I get for the summer months as it makes people much more happier. Not forgetting, the bright colours and the summer fashion trends.

Followed by, the fact Scott and I are heading off to Majorca in July!! E-E-E-K! It makes me even more excited to share new blogs or even vlog posts! You will have to wait and see!

7) What's my favourite type of blog to write?

Again, this is such a tricky question! You guys know how to make me really think! My favourite blog would have to be my monthly favourites as I have to really test out the products before I share them with you thoroughly! But I also love the preparations the monthly blogs take!

8) Who inspired me to start writing?

Without a doubt, my mum! My mum has inspired my writing passions from day one! She has influenced my love for English Literature and Language too!

9) Have you got any collaborations coming up soon?

I love to keep you waiting I never really like to spill any news until it's set in stone or been posted on the blog. Let's just say, you never know.!

I'm always up for working with new people and  in terms of my previous collaborations with Amber Anderson we're in regular contact and she's become a dear friend of mine.... So you will have to wait and see!

10) What's your favourite cocktail?

Well it's tricky as I'm not much of a drinker nowadays. I've seen on one of Zoella's blog's there's a Mocktail book which looks incredible! It may have to be a new purchase of mine! But basing this around previous tines I would stray away from anything based around rum as Lizzie and I didn't enjoy that! For me, it's a tie up between Sex On The Beach or Strawberry Daiquiri.

11) What's it like living on the Isle of Wight

These questions have totally made me think before waffling on! As a child, I loved the Island. I still do but in very different ways! It always felt so much bigger than what it truly is! It's really so tiny!

Don't get me wrong, I love living near the sea as we have such pretty views. But in terms of: jobs, education or entertainment we hardly have anything... It sucks as well as it's quite an expense for us to leave the Island. For example, when Scott leaves for university he has to add on the hour on the boat plus the cost of the boat!

It's a beautiful place to live with such wonderful scenery but unfortunately there isn't much for the younger generation.

12) Do you have any summer tips or recommendations?

Summer is my favourite month which means it's also my favourite season for fashion trends too. At the moment, I would recommend: platforms, plenty of crop tops, A-line skirts and culottes.

13) Are you excited for your birthday?

I love celebrating birthday's. I always have, I love to celebrate other's birthday's. So yes I am super excited. The one thing which really excites me is the fact Scott's coming home!

14) Where are you hoping your blog will take you?

In the beginning, I had no idea that so many people would read my blog. So for me to have reached over 20,000 views in under a year is a dream come true to me. My intentions, were to only write and share my interests every now and then. I guess to almost treat my blog like a diary not just for me but for my family, friends and now all of you.

I've been so very lucky to have managed to have been offered so many great opportunities already. Everyday is a blessing for me when I see you've read my blog! So thank you!

15) Have you got any surprises coming soon?

As I said earlier on, I'm always planning something!

16) What is your favourite store?

In all honesty, I love to shop as you all know so it's difficult to say. In terms of fashion I would say Primark only because it's fashionable and cheap as chips! With beauty products, it's without a doubt Superdrug!

That brings me to an end for this q and a blog! I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who shared their questions with me and I hope you've enjoyed reading the answers!!

If you have any thoughts or comments to leave please leave them in the comment box or contact me!!

Questions & Answers Based Around The Autumn And Winter Seasons....

I have been so focused on wanting to try out new things to blog and share with you all guys!

So I decided to share a blog with you all based around questions and answers for you all on why I love the autumn and winter months.

I have had a lot of questions posted on my Instagram, Twitter and through my emails so I thought it would be the ideal time to manage to answer all the questions that you have all asked me on a blog post!

1) Would I ever wear a hat?

So the first answer is no, unfortunately hats don't suit me :( (I am really gutted about this as I admire people who look lovely wearing them! I think their really stylish!)

2) What are my top four must have essentials in my Autumn wardrobe?

- Scarves - you will never find my autumn wardrobe without a few scarves. I love them, I think they tend to be stylish and they manage to keep you cosy when the bitter weather starts.

- Leather Jacket - for anyone who knows me then you will know that I am really obsessed with wearing and having leather jackets. I love them so much, I think they will keep you warm but still show off your stylish side.

- Crop Jumpers - I pretty much live in crop tops and when it comes to the autumn and winter seasons I change it up to a crop jumper. I just love the fancy little details that crop tops and jumpers give.

- Tights - it's really important to me that I have tights in my chest of draws because my legs are freezing when I wear skirts or dresses, so I pretty much rely on tights to get me through the colder periods.

3) What's your  favourite homely accessory during the cooler seasons?

I have found it rather hard to give you guys just one answer so I have had to nail it down to two. My first favourite homely accessory would definitely have to be pretty candles! I love them! My second favourite, homely accessory would have to be a blanket. I love the idea of cuddling up and having a cute little blanket!

4) What do I love the most about the Autumn/Winter months?

My favourite thing about the cooler months is of course being at home with my family and being able to chill with them. I love the idea of just spending the bitter cold evenings in with my family in front of the TV with the fire on.

My second favourite thing, is the dark nights. There is a part of me that really loves the dark nights as its the big build up to the Christmas period I guess. (The thought of Christmas has already got me smiling :) !! I am a big kid I swear!)

But this year the countdown to Christmas is really huge and special to me because as your all aware my boyfriend is away studying at Hull university and I really miss him!! (You all know that!!) Scott is coming home for Christmas.!! I am so excited to have him back home for the Christmas period. :)

So that's the questions and answers answered if you have any more to ask me please do let me know as I am always eager to let you know as much as I can!

My task for you is to try and answer these questions too! Please leave your answers below that would be amazing!

Before, I end this blog I couldn't help but share some photos of you when I came home the other night as it was really dark and I wanted to show you my excitement of when I returned home! I haven't edited the photos as you can see, I thought the lighting was too powerful to edit!

Plus I thought the little tree at the front of my house reminded me of a Christmas tree! (Do you know what I mean or am I just too excited?!)

I hope you like the blog everyone!

Lots of love, Anya x

Why Did I Start To Love Writing?

Hey guys,

I haven't wrote a blog in a few days as I have been rather busy which of course I will update you with in blogs that are upcoming.

Anyway, I decided I would write you a little lifestyle blog describing a little bit more about me and my interest in writing.

So I have had a lot of questions regarding why I love to write, so I thought it would be ideal if I wrote and explained why I have always enjoyed writing.

Ever since, I was little I have always had a passion and an interest in writing. I personally believe this is due to the fact that my mum is a huge influence and inspiration towards my taste for English and writing.

My mum has always had an interest towards English, she always had a new book in her hand which furthered my interest for English as I developed a liking for reading which then lead to my interest in writing I guess.

I mean, I was always one of those girls who kept a journal as I like to look back and remember events during my life or feelings I felt whilst growing up. So I always kept in touch with writing, as I would daily write.

One of my favourite things about writing is that it enables you to write anything your feeling, your interests and it also allows you to write about experiences. With writing, you can do anything and everything and I guess that's why I love it because it's so open to change which I think expresses how we all live our lives as we all go through daily changes.

Changes we don't even tend to think about are actually changes, for instance: the new food or drink we try, the new friends or family members we meet, the new job we got the other day, the new music we listen too, the new way we walk home as we think it's quicker but it's longer than the other way home or the new fashion trends that we try out as we like the way a new style looks.

There are so many changes and challenges to make and overcome during life, which is why I love to write and learn about writing new experiences or feelings.

So I hope you have a little bit more of an understanding as you know I like to keep you updated.

Lots of love, Anya x

Why Do I Use Social Networks?

Hey guys,

So recently I have been asked by family members and fellow readers of my blog why I include my social networks with my blog?

I guess I thought the easier way to tell you all would be to write a blog for you all to read and understand...

So why do I share my social networks on my blog?

I guess one of the main reasons why I share my blog life on my social networks and vice versa is the fact that I want my fellow blog readers to understand who I am and to know about my life.

As I personally always like to know about the author of a book that I am reading or an actor of a character I like in a film...

As I have said before I think it is important to know about someone, rather than knowing part of something we should know it all I think, do you agree?

I want you all to know about my life, as I want you to know that what I say or think is the truth and is real. So my aim is to be as open as I can with you all and with any blog that I right. To me, that's really important for me and my blog!

My social networks are important to me as I daily try to update photos in order to show everyone what's happening or happened during the day or a timed period of my life. I find it important to upload photos as you all can see what I am doing or even for me too look back on and remember.

You all know, I like to take a selfie to remember everything! I am sure a lot of you do too!

Anyway, I hope I have answered the question for you as much as I could.

Lots of love,

Anya

Sweet Sassy Summer Essentials

Morning guys,

So piecing this fashion board together was really fun and I thought it definitely looked beautiful, what do you think? Polyvore is absolutely the way forward in finding and styling new outfits and inspirations for outfits, so for sure check the app out and whilst your at it follow me as I would love you to keep up with the outfit inspirations I create.

I loved creating this fashion board as summer is definitely the weather where everyone is Sassy but still Sweet with their outfits.

I know that the summer weather hasn't especially been brilliant this year but when it's beautiful it really is beautiful. I haven't really styled an outfit I have just placed the summer essentials in for you guys, that said with the way I have styled the items they all do match and go together as an outfit.

Skorts and Crop Tops have definitely become one of the most talked about fashion items this year and they are perfect for the summer weather, that said Platforms have been up in the list as well as they seem to be everywhere you go... Especially me as I love wearing platforms, I am sure your already aware of that by now though.

Dusters, I haven't yet bought a duster coat however I have seen one that I like in Topshop and I am still tempted to go back and buy it but there very trendy and manage to keep you warm on the summery evenings as well as providing you with that sassy-ness!

Playsuits and Cord sets are massive in terms of the summer clothing, I don't think your summer wardrobe is complete without them! There's been a lot of the use of the colour white this summer this shows you know your style and your sassy side through the colours that you wear.

Prints are still a hyped topic in the fashion industry, especially monochrome. Prints certainly do bring out your sassy side!

In terms of makeup, I have shown you a more natural side as I think summer weather is all about the natural sassy style! You don't want to be overdoing your makeup as your makeup looks clean and stylish by going for the natural colours. Nude and Pink colours are perfect for this style!

I'm off to Southampton shopping today guys so sorry to cut this blog short, but I am sure I will have a lot of new things to blog about in the next couple of days!

Lots of love,

Anya x

Relationships / Realism ...

Evening everyone,

I know I promised you guys an insight into my life as often as I could, so here is another blog for you guys.

I know most people reading this are my friends or family but for the other people reading my blog who hardly know me I think it's perfect to post these sort of blogs so you get a better understanding of who I am and how I feel about experiences or situations in my life.

I haven't really had the best experience with relationships, yeah typical girl right? Though I know boys don't always have the best experiences too and like I have always said it takes two people to make things work.

This is just a general blog of how I feel to be honest as like I have said before I often find myself thinking about things and then knowing it's the perfect opportunity to blog about how I am feeling... Sometimes, even my family and friends don't know what I am thinking or feeling as I am quite a personal person.

I would prefer to help others rather than thinking or discussing how I am feeling but what I have discovered recently is to focus on what makes yourself happy as that will make the others surrounding you happier.

Anyway, one of my favourite songs of all time is 'Grenade' by Bruno Mars I really think it describes how my past relationships have been and I suppose at the time when your in a relationship you can't see how other people view your relationship. As I have said before, make sure you balance your views and don't push other people away just for your partner as occasionally the other people around you were right all along!

It is really hard to think when your in a relationship that your partner wouldn't do the same things that you do for them and that's literally the key point you all need to focus on... If he or she doesn't do the same things for you, is he or she worth it? Does he or she make the effort for you or do you have to do it all?

I remember at the end of one of my relationships, I am sure most of my family and friends are fully aware who I am talking about, I often found myself questioning whether I deserved to be treated like that?

I would definitely suggest thinking and questioning yourself as it certainly helped me and it made me wake up and realize that the relationship never worked, yes we had our good times but it was mainly bad times.

Moving on and finding someone who makes you happy and stands by you is definitely the best feeling anyone could ever have. Surround yourself with the people who support you and make you feel happy all the time!

Lots of love guys, if you ever need any guidance or if you would like to leave me some questions I will love to answer them for you guys.
