Homeward Bound & Struggling With Holiday Blues....

Hey everyone, so it looks like I am homeward bound! 

I've got to say it's always sad knowing the holiday you have been counting down to for months,  has suddenly ended in a flash, but just like Scott reminded me, every holiday has to end in order for new exciting memories to be made... 

I thought it would be an ideal opportunity to share a few photos with you all, until I upload a full, fun packed blog for you all to read... Or will involve just reading? Hmmm, I wonder! 

You all know I love sharing new fun exciting things which I hope keeps you interested... So I have left a few hints on my social media and on my blog page too!! I wonder if any of you can guess what the surprise is?

Surprises From Scott On Our Anniversary...

Hello everyone, what are you all up to? 

Can you believe it's nearly the weekend? I certainly can't, when Scott and I booked our holiday it was over 140 days to go and now it's down to three! It's all happening so quickly! 

I had to share a quick selfie with you all before moving onto telling you all a few things... I've kind of focused on certain beauty looks and kept a beauty routine at the moment which I am yet to share with you all but here's a little looksie into the makeup look I have been going for right now!

I can't describe to you all how: exciting, special and surprising our first year anniversary was! It was honestly so amazing, Scott definitely made it the best day ever! Hence the reason, why I have been dying to share our day with you all! 

Every occasion is always an extra opportunity for a card right? At least, that's what I like to think as I love to have  a card! 

Typical, one of us had to leave the price on the card but the funny thing is it wasn't me this time it was Scott! We had to have something to laugh about didn't we Scott?

Scott sent me searching around the house for some clues... I didn't even know what I was looking for but I soon found myself finding the clues. After about an hour or what seemed like forever I found my clues and gifts!

Wow just wow!! I eventually found my beautiful pink roses and my beautiful necklace from HSamuels laying on my bed... 

I have been completely spoilt due to Scott and I hope he has enjoyed his gifts from me too! It's been such an amazing anniversary!! 

If you were wondering what the photo frame was then let me explain ha-ha! As Scott enjoys his science he took the time into making a black love heart for me with some sort of paper which changes from the colour grey to black... Unfortunately, I  can't remember what the paper is called!! 

If you were wondering what I wore during the evening I went with a simple pair of black platforms, a pair of printed trousers which are beautiful and a black crop top! 

Scott had everything planned from morning to evening! Isn't he the perfect chap? 

We went down to The Lifeboat, for a lovely meal and a few Mock-tails! Can I just say the meal was stunning and the mock-tails were beautiful?? 

Followed by, a lovely stroll down the sea front!! 

After a lovely meal and walk down the sea front we headed to the cinema to watch 'Now You See Me 2' - it was a stunning day and full of beautiful surprises!! 

It has been an amazing year and two days with you now Scott! Thank you for an amazing year and I love you millions! I can't wait for the future!! Ha-ha the cheesiness is over now I promise!! 

Before, I end this blog I have a few things to mention to you all! I am heading off to Majorca in under three days and I have a lot of ideas for the blog so please please please be patient as they will be coming!!

A quick holiday essential guide & A quick catch up with me... ✈️

Good evening everyone, it's been a few days now hasn't it? How are you all doing? 

Are you looking forward to hearing what my monthly products are soon? I've been desperately wanting to share them with you all but there's nothing better than making you all wait! He-he!

So as you can see, I haven't been able to blog for a few days sadly :(! But as you all know, I am jetting off to Majorca in less than six days and it's been super busy sorting out the last few bits before leaving the Isle of Wight for a week! 

Plus, I have been super busy with dedicating my time to family as we have recently had my cousin Connor and Auntie Lynda down for a few days. Followed by, my auntie Mo and Uncle Alan who arrived on Sunday... I love being surrounded by my family!! Although, we all know family can be slightly annoying at times can't they ha-ha!! 

Not forgetting, to meet up with our lovely friends! It's always good to surround yourself with the ones closest to you as it always makes you smile and feel happy!! Nobody needs negativity right? 

Swiftly moving onto the main reason for this blog, you all know I'm off on holiday next week and I just couldn't resist posting a summery inspired inflatable donut ring for you all? We all love summer holidays don't we? 

How could I not share a summer essentials list for you all? 

When it comes to packing, that's pretty much a stressed zone for me ha-ha! I don't know if it's just me but I find myself packing at least twelve items of underwear and that's just the start! Ha-ha! 

So I guess I most definitely find it useful to have my diary planner at the ready as I write down at least two or three weeks before a very long detailed list in order to prepare myself for my travels! Ha-ha! 

I throw my hands up and quite willingly admit to the fact I over pack for every occasion! But like I always say, I would rather over pack than under pack as it's not like I could just pop home and bring an extra item with me, is it? 

I thought I would be helpful and help you all out with a summer holiday essential list as I know what the stress of packing is and after all you want your holiday to be stress free don't you? 

Join me and make a little helpful and handy summer holiday essential list: 

1) Sun Lotion - always remember to pack your sun cream ladies and gents! You don't want to come home with sun burn do you now? 

2) Sun glasses / accessories - I would always advise you to take your sunnies even if you wear them on your head as that's usually what I tend to do! In terms of accessories, I always think a nice bit of jewellery with a tan looks incredible! 

3) Crop tops - whether you take dressy or casual crop tops you can't ever have too many! I reckon I will find myself packing more than I already have, whoever invented crop tops are a genius as they're literally life during the summer fashion period. 

4) Playsuits/Jumpsuits - I always find taking a couple of playsuits or jumpsuits along with you will be perfect for the evening time if you're heading out for a meal or a stroll along the beach... It's just dressy and so pretty!

5) Pretty skirts and shorts - printed shorts and skirts are amazing for the summery inspired looks... During summer weather, I just can't seem to have enough of them so they will definitely be making many appearances! 

6) Shoes - as you have most likely noticed, I haven't stated what kind of shoes! I think this is the bit I struggle the most with! Packing and selecting the right shoes is my biggest struggle, I always find myself taking way too many but finding a reason to wear all of them anyway ha-ha! 

So I thought I would break it down into little sectors as it's easier for us all - 

- Flip flops, you will most definitely need around the pool or beach.

- Sandals are perfect for a casual or dressy look during the day time.

- A pair of court heels or platforms are most definitely perfect for the evening time! 

7) Beach essentials - beach bags, beach towels, beach hair products.... The list could go on and on and on but if you keep it pretty basic then you'll have more room to bring extra clothes ha-ha! That's my logic anyway!

You know the saying, 'keep it simple!' I would like to add on a extra part to that saying - 'Keep it simple and sassy!' - every girl needs her beauty products and fashion items so keep it in mind fellas! 

Most importantly, everyone I would love to say a happy year anniversary to my best friend and my boyfriend! Scott I love you very much! (Go and grab the sick bucket now everyone ha-ha!) 

 

I can't believe it's been a year already!!

My July Look Book...

With it being the fourth of July already, I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to start sharing some of my outfit inspirations for this beautiful month! I say beautiful, I hope the weather genuinely picks up and doesn't let us all down! 

When I came across this Tumblr photo I couldn't resist sharing it on my blog! It's so adorable, not forgetting the fact that it has been captured outside of what looks like an aeroplane window... I feel it's just perfect for this month as that will be Scott and I in twelve days!! Yippeee!! I need a holiday!! 

Style 1 - 

 

With the weather not being that warmer enough to pull off shorts or shorter clothing yet we're still having to dress a bit warmer so why not dress the ripped jeans look right up and add a little touch of summer? 

Bright colours draw so much attention when it comes to summery inspired outfits and makeup so sticking with red is a trendy move to make! 

Whether you're looking for a day time or evening wear both looks are so inspiring and trendy! Pair a white and red stripey crop top with a pair of black ripped jeans with platforms or sandals and you certainly know how to look super stylish during the summer for sure!

Style 2 -



When I came across these beautiful shorts they certainly had to make a feature on the blog! I'm not usually a blue kind of girl however I think light and pale blues are stunning colours for the summer especially when paired with whites and pinky tones! Initially, I was heading for a white crop top to go with the shorts but that's when I found this beautiful mesh lace light blue crop top and the look is just to die for! 

Style 3 - 



Red, white and black are clearly the colours I tend to go for during the summer. I think red just adds an extra little splash to your outfit don't you agree? 

If you're looking for a spicy and sassy evening look on your holiday then this is one hundred and ten percent the look to go for! 

As it's just drop dead gorgeous! 

Don't forget your lippy! 

Style 4 - 



With the off the shoulder and cold shoulder look taking over by storm right now, it's obviously got to be a must have item for your holiday look! I love the pretty print dresses which look extra stylish with the cut out shoulder! 

I love it!! 

Style 5 -




I have to say that this is most certainly one of my favourite looks right now! It just wouldn't be summer without a jumpsuit would it? 

For me, summer fashion is pretty much based around jumpsuits and playsuits especially pretty pastels and flower prints! I just can't get enough of them! 

You can pretty much do whatever you like with the look and that's most certainly what we all want right? 

Style 6 - 



I won't lie I have fallen for this outfit inspiration. I adore it, I think it's eye catching and that's exactly what everyone wants during the summer? 

Summer fashion is all about being daring, bold and beautiful! Don't be afraid to wear something that's a little out of your comfort zone! I usually wouldn't mix prints or mix more than three colours but right now it's such a hot look! I love, love, love and love it! What about you? 

Style 6 - 



Summer is all about being sassy so you must not forget to show off your monochrome look! Don't keep it hiding in the wardrobe bring out your monochrome buys!! 

Style 7 - 


If you're feeling old school and fancying a black and white high waisted trousers day why not pair it with a simple and sweet pinky pastel top, handbag and heels?

It's such a simple outfit but yet beautiful summery inspired look! 

Style 8 - 



I think you all know this is one hundred percent a look that I wear a lot of the time ha-ha! I adore printed trousers, I think it's the perfect look for dressing up or dressing down an outfit!

As you can see, I have paired it with a red cold shoulder crop top which adds an extra sass to the outfit! 

I hope you have all enjoyed reading my July look book! I've sadly had to keep them quite un-summery due to the fact our weather isn't that great! :( ! Typical UK weather though right? 

I'm hoping after my holiday, I will create another look book to show off summery inspired looks that I have worn on holiday!!

A Few Handy Holiday Essentials...

Hey, how are you all doing? Can you believe, it's the fourth of July already? Seven months into our new year... It will be 2017 before we know it, won't it? 

I'm praying for some sunshine this month!! Although, in saying that I will have a week off sunshine when Scott and I vacate to Majorca in just under thirteen days!! I am super excited!! 

I have got to say what a poor effort the weather is right now!! Where's our summer? Fingers crossed, it starts to try and brighten up properly now!! I think it's really getting to us all now isn't it? 



I never intended to overly like this selfie but I swear it really emphasises summery inspired make-up don't you agree? Tell me, you're feeling the summery inspired make-up theme going on in the selfie too or is it just me ha-ha? I do try, I really do! 

However, other than my tired eyes as I was heading to work just before I took this selfie I'm hoping that you can notice my pink lipstick from Mac and my contour... you can can't you?

I'm pretty sure that this was my way of trying to get the sun to shine and believe it or night it actually did yesterday!! So all I can say to you girls or boys out there don't be afraid to bring out the summery inspired colours as the sun should start to shine!! Fingers crossed! Ha-ha, great advice there Anya!! Nice one ;)!! 



With it being, nearly Scott and I's holiday there's always time for a sassy little last minute shop right? 

Holiday shopping is always based around pretty little accessories, girl's always need their accessories don't we? 

I've got to admit, it never crossed my mind thinking about travel: card holders, label tag, passport cover or a little bag to put all your non-waterproof and important belongings in if you're heading out for the day or down to the beach... A massive, thank you to Coral for encouraging me to buy these items from work ha-ha!! 





You can't go wrong with a pink handy bag which you can easily slip into your beach bag for the day, can you? I was lucky that Coral found this for me at work as there were only two left for only two pounds! What a bargain! I adore the writing on the front the bag, it's one hundred percent spot on for my holiday! As Scott and I will be heading down to the beach for sure on our holiday! 






From my social media, I am sure you know Scott and I took a trip over to Southampton last week to do a little shopping spree for our holiday!! Of course, we headed straight to Primark which I am sure you know Scott hated walking round and round in circles for like two hours ha-ha! 

When I found this cute and sassy little makeup bag I knew for sure it was going to leave the store with me!! I think it's honestly so adorable! It has a crisp edge due to the slogan on the makeup bag 'Brows Before Bros' but it it is followed by neutral pinky tones and a pretty gold stripey pattern on the top of the bag!! It's a perfect size to place in your hand luggage but to also takeaway on holiday with you... I don't intend on taking lots of makeup with me as I fancy going a little natural! 



Many years ago now, I used to have an obsession with leopard print and part of me still loves a good taste of leopard print ha-ha! So when I found this beautiful little card holder I knew it had my name on it! I've been looking everywhere for a fancy card holder to keep my card or boarding passes etc safe... 



That was when Coral and I spotted it was a complete set... So of course, you can't buy individual items can you? I'm one hundred percent dying to put my passport inside this cover!! Although, it will be a tad annoying when I have to keep taking it out of its cover! Ha-ha! But everything needs an accessory right? Plus, when it comes to travelling you have to do it in style right?

It's always important to keep a luggage label on your suitcase! I always worried as a child that my suitcase would be lost do you always get that feeling when you're at the airport too? Maybe it's just me ha-ha! So at least I have a cute label now!! 

I also found three nail files with pretty animal prints which left Peacocks with me too! I adore them and just in case my nail breaks whilst I'm on holiday. There's nothing wrong with being prepared! 

With recently, breaking my necklace I've been on the search for a new one or for a little something whilst I am waiting for mine and Scott's anniversary! Ha-ha hints have just been dropped for you Scott! So I'm not overly keen on chokers but when this one came into work I thought it looked pretty beautiful! It had to leave with me after I finished my shift on Sunday.

I love the fact the strap is pretty simple but it's paired with a pretty little gold hand!! I love the detail on this choker! It's such a summery inspired buy don't you agree?
