Finding Your Own Piece Of Mind...

Good evening my lovelies, have we all had a happy Tuesday?! I know I certainly have, that's for sure! 

With the countdown to Christmas being right around the corner, it's only left us with the busy queues and frantic customers who are leaving the Christmas shopping to the last minute ha-ha! (That will be me then!!) 

Anyway, so I thought it was that time of month for another motivational and inspirational blog. A lot has happened during the last few months for me and like I've said many of times before, I won't disclose every personal matter as I do like to have a little bit of privacy for myself and the people in my life. 

What I must point out for all of you guys reading this right now is; 'It's Important To Stay True To Yourself.'

Life tests you at times with many different circumstances, but it's important to remember to take some time out. For me, recently I have had a lot going on what with coming out of a relationship, dealing with difficult situations, meeting my biological father for the first time and many other things... Sometimes the most important thing to do is admit it's been difficult as it's a healer... 

It's also important to understand that sometimes blame is placed on yourself, don't put up with that... Things happen, it's life... People come and people go! Don't fight for those who have walked away, your reasoning's are pretty clear... They aren't meant to be there! 

As you know, I haven't blogged in a while as I have been taking some time for myself... It's not okay to blame yourself for things that have occurred in your life and those who care about you will remind you this... Life isn't always about winning, those who loose tend to be the ones who have more of an understanding towards life... 

Don't dwell on the past, focus on your future as it's bright! 

Find your own piece of mind, not everything in life is as simple as you think... Life can get very complicated but dealing with a grief or pain can be brutal. Surround yourselves by those who stick by your side through thick and thin! 

Remember, you're loved and supported! 

Be happy and be you!

A Last Minute Helpful Guide To Christmas Gifts...

Well we're well underway aren't we? 

Although, that doesn't mean we can't say hello to December once again! 

It's definitely the count down to Christmas right now that's for sure! Has everybody finished their Christmas shopping or on that note has everybody even started yet?

On that note, I thought I would piece together a few little gift guide ideas for you all... In case, you're struggling for ideas and the clocks certainly ticking! So fear not, I am on the case!

Okay, so personally when I am struggling with gift ideas I always head over to Superdrug as they never let me down! Plus, on a side note they always have a Christmas gift guide page - if you're lacking thoughts on what to buy then I would most definitely suggest to take a look... 

If not, always have a sneak peak on bloggers pages as they will always post a gift guide in the hope to help you guys!! (Though, mine is a little late ha-ha!) 

After hand picking a few gifts, I have pieced together a mini gift guide for you all... Guys, if you're wondering what to buy your misses for Christmas then here's a little sneak peak into what us ladies love!

Meeting My Biological Dad For The Very First Time & Starting Your Very Own Journey...

Hey!

 So it's been a few days since my last blog post but as you all probably know already my life has been pretty hectic right now..

In fact, it's been a roller coaster! On the plus side, I always find life interesting when there's something happening. I always find that if there wasn't anything happening it would be boring, don't you agree? Keep yourselves busy and open to opportunities!

A slight distraction though, has everyone had a happy Monday? 

So I'm not entirely sure where to start writing this blog, I guess it could turn into complete waffle as my old history teacher would say. However, I will do what I can to express what's happening right now...

Before, mentioning anything I wanted to say a massive thank you to my family as they have brought me into the world with a happy lifestyle which is full of love and happiness. So thank you! But also, thank you all for standing by my life choices etc! I will always be your little girl! 

Anyway, so life is a journey that is always ongoing. When I came across this beautiful picture, I couldn't resist posting it on the blog! 

I've got to admit that sharing this online with you all isn't one of the easiest things for me to do as it's still very surreal for myself. 

Although, as you all know I love to write and share as much as I can with you all! Sometimes, when I turn to writing a blog it tends to hit me as I finally face what I am currently going through. It's almost my realisation! 

It's quite strange for me to be writing and posting this... 

I met my biological father for the very first time a few weeks ago... 

It's been a very long few weeks considering I openly admit I never thought I would meet my father. It's been difficult going through the ups and the downs as a child, wondering where your parent has been? But I don't blame anyone as I have had the most amazing childhood and I have the most supportive family... Now it's time for me to open a new chapter of my life with getting to know my father too. Not forgetting to mention, the fact I have brothers too! Ewan and Lewis, are most definitely going to take after their trouble maker of a sister. 

Life is all about make new journeys... Taking risks, never settling for anything but the best opportunity for yourself! 

After, a chapter ends a new chapter begins! 

Finding a part of yourself which you never knew existed isn't always easy to cope with so make sure you take baby steps! 

This is another time for me to stop and thank my dearest best friend Lizzie for being so supportive! I honestly, mean it when I say I couldn't be as strong as I am without you! So thank you, for always having my back! <3

It's really hard dealing with emotions sometimes especially when your emotions change quite frequently but I want to thank my lovely photographer Adrian Sucking for capturing mine and my father's first photograph since I was a baby! So thank you! 

Our journey begins...

Strong Looks Better Naked| Khloe Kardashian...

Hey, firstly 'Happy Sunday' and secondly it's finally December once again! 

Who's got the Christmas tree up along with the Christmas decorations too? I should probably attempt to put mine up now... Ha!

Anyway, as you guys know the last few months haven't been the easiest but they haven't been the hardest! 

Finding the perfect distraction for you is a great way to find yourself. I know, it seems silly but its true, finding something you love or find enjoyable is really useful to take your mind of things... 

You find yourself becoming stronger each and every single day.

For me, I turned to; reading, writing and designing so genuinely everything I love! 

However, I couldn't wait to share this book with you as it's become my latest obsession! 

You all know my love for the Kardashian's', so of course I had to buy Khloe's book!! 

Motivational quotes and inspirational top tips are most certainly what we all need at hard times.

For me, I can one hundred percent relate towards this book and it's definitely become one of my favourites. I literally can't put it down!

So I guess, what I am trying to say is find your distraction and make it your own journey!

Finding Some Down-Time For Yourself...

Happy Monday to you all!! 

How beautiful has the weather been today? It's most definitely been a typical Autumn day with the beautiful sun and blue skies surrounded by the pretty autumn leaves!! 

Recently, it's been that kind of year where people have had their hearts broken or found themselves going through situations they didn't expect to be in... There is most definitely something in the air that's for sure! 

I stumbled across this beautiful slogan picture on my Instagram and knew it had to be posted on my blog! Unfortunately, I can't actually remember who shared the photo but this is a shout-out to you who shared it as personally it's become one of my favourite motivational quotes! 

It's important for me to remind you all that you need to find time for yourselves... I can't stress how important it is. I mean, throwing myself back to a couple of months even to two years ago I always felt like everybody else's lives or problems were far more important than my own... 

Picking up the pieces, for everyone else was always far more important to me rather than taking the time out to think about; myself, my health and my life... 

I guess, we all worry that we come across as selfish and self-centred when actually it's okay to put yourself first.. 

It's more than okay to sit focusing on yourself and to think of your future. 

Again, that's not me saying to not be there for your family or friends it's allowing yourself to balance and manage things... 

Take time for yourselves!

A Trip Down To Southampton...

Good evening everyone, how has your Saturday been for you so far? What are your plans, a quiet night in or a lively night out?

A little side note, how lovely is this 'Saturday' Tumblr?

It's been such a busy few weeks recently so it's certainly been a godsend to be able to sit down and post this blog online as I have been dead excited to share it all with you. 

I must say, it's important to remember to have time with your loved ones. 

Luckily, for me I have had such an amazing support from my best friend; Lizzie who took me away for an amazing weekend. It was definitely one to remember!! 

I couldn't wait to share my eventful evening with you all!! If you're an Islander I would most definitely suggest heading to Southampton for a night out as it was incredible!!

Anyway, so have a little glimpse into our night out at Oceana...

First of all, a massive thank you to Lizzie for giving me a make-over! Ha-ha!! 

With, heading over to Southampton we initially went to the Comedy Club which happened to be rather eventful and funny! It was definitely a night to remember! 

I have to say Lizzie and I definitely took longer to get ready compared to Tom and Kevin. But ladies, we all need our time right?

It's all about adding the final touches! Every girl needs lippy!! 

Eventually, it was time to head out as we were both ready!! Poor Tom and Kevin who were sat waiting for us both ha-ha!

As you can see we spent majority of the time at the photo booth which we loved!! If only, the Isle of Wight could have more things like this!! 

I know both Kevin and Lizzie will enjoy this picture being posted on the blog as it was definitely a drink to remember... 

Surrounding yourself with positive and loving people is the best feeling in the world. This girl has been my absolute rock for the last few months, I am so grateful for everything you have done for me! I absolutely love my best friend to the moon and back!! <3 

Never stop living your lives, always smile as there is so much to be happy about!! 

Take a little step back and notice who's there for you when your at your lowest!!

Taking A Trip Down To Winchester & Chichester Plus A Feature Of Quarr Abbey....

Good evening everyone, I promised you I would be back didn't I? I suspect you didn't expect it to be this quick though!

How beautiful, is the Autumn weather? It's such a beautiful scenery! As soon as the leaves fall I find myself becoming really excited for the Winter periods! Who else doesn't?

The last few months, haven't been the greatest but like I have always said: 

'Life is a journey, throughout life we all have knock-backs and struggles. It's how you learn to deal with the knock-backs and struggles which create and define your very own journey." 

I have found recently a popular question that I have been asked is: have I considered deleting my blog? 

I thought, I would mingle this into this blog as it's important to answer but also show you how I have moved on and created balances from previous struggles! Personally, I disagree as I haven't once at all considered deleting my blog and many of you will already know the answers as I am quite predictable at times. One of the most important things to me is knowing that my blog is almost a diary of my life. It's something that not only I can look back onto in many years to come but my children and partner will do the same. Life is a learning curve and we all go through different chapters. 

In other words, no I would never delete the blog. Just because one chapter has ended it doesn't mean another one hasn't started!

Anyway, I've gone off track once again ha-ha! So let's head back to when my mum and I took a trip down to Winchester and Chichester for a weekend!! 

Firstly, I would like to say a massive good luck to my best friend Charlie and Kane! I am extremely proud of both of you for moving to Winchester and starting university!! Now, I know my way I will be coming more often! It was so lovely to spend time with you both! 

Secondly, my mum and I decided to then take a trip to Chichester as funnily enough that's where my mum studies at university when she had me at a very young age... It's always important to me to get to know my mum's past etc as that's a part of me.! 

However, it was lovely to have a little weekend away! A break sometimes, is exactly what you need!! 

I know it certainly relaxed me and surrounding yourself with people who love you is an important message for me to share! The people who always stay in your lives are the ones to always stay by your side!

A Few Surprises Here And There...

Hey you guys, how has your week been so far?

Before, moving onto the purpose of the blog.. I couldn't resist posting this 'Tuesday Tumblr' photo with you all!! It most definitely fits the weather perfectly for today, right?

Initially, I must mention how sorry I am for not posting as frequently as I have in the passed. Fear not, I have so much to share with you all so I will be back!! 

I mean it's important for us all to take a little breakaway, to have a little detox time for yourself!! 

Sometimes, I find myself relying on social media a little too much... 

If you're reading this and agreeing with me then here's a few suggestions for you:

1) Delete the social media apps of your phone for a little while, even if its just for a few days believe me it will give you the break you need.

2) Keep yourself busy with other things... Find time to; read a book or go for a run or maybe even relax with your friends or family members.

3) Most importantly, have you time!

Anyway, as you know I tend to get a little carried away when it comes to sharing top tips of mine so I'm going to hit the stop button and continue with the reason of this blog! 

 

It's officially six weeks until Christmas, I have to say Christmas is one of my favourite time of year to blog!! It's officially my second Christmas with you all!! It's unbelievable to think I have been blogging for over a year and a half now!

It makes me super excited! 

There are so many new blogs coming right your way! I have a lot of things to share with you all for example; trips away, fashion blogs, new beauty tricks of mine and much more interesting pieces!!

Getting Back To Me And Dealing With Emotions After A Break Up...

Good evening everyone!!

How are you all doing? Good I hope!! Life is all about smiling and seeing the goodness in difficult journeys we all lead!

As you most likely all know, I haven't turned to my blog for a few days as I needed a few days for myself!! I hope you don't hate me for that ha-ha!

In terms, of my last blog post I would genuinely like to say thank you to everybody who has supported me. It's been a difficult past few weeks which I am sure you can all understand. We have all had our hearts broken before, haven't we?

Sometimes, it's really important to know that no matter how hard you try and how much love you have for someone it's just not meant to be!

That's not me saying, you shouldn't keep the good memories or the happiness you had with that certain someone whether it be an ex partner or friend. Memories will always stay! It's just a new chapter for you to make new ones! 

The worst thing you could do is turn to bitterness and hate!

Everybody goes through different journeys and that's important to remember! In that case, we all deal with things in different ways!

I guess, what I am trying to tell you is it's really not healthy on you or your body to go through added stress!

Find your happy place, focus on yourself.. Find time to focus on you and your body! Remind yourself what's important!

You know, a dear friend of mine shared this quote with me the other day and it really hit home for me! Life isn't easy for anybody, a prime example would be my nan who sadly grew up without her mum at the age of eighteen! I literally take my hat off to her, she is a rock! She survived and got back to the top, at no point did she let difficulty stand in her way! I admire you nan!

Being strong is most certainly part of my genes that's for sure!

Ladies, we're all survivors! Don't you be afraid to forget it!

'Difficult roads often lead t beautiful destinations.'

I could let the difficult roads ahead of me get the better of me. However, surely that's the easy option right? Why would we settle for the easy options when we have so many goals and beautiful destinations ahead of us?

The reality is pretty simple, sometimes there will be unanswered answers in your life... You may never understand, why situations have happened! But it's okay. Make your own answers and develop an understanding for yourselves...

Move on... Move on with your lives and be strong as there are plenty of journeys ahead of you all!

Be patient with yourself and your life journey...

You're all on this pathway for some reason...!

Let yourselves be willing to take those steps!

It's The End To A Goodbye...

Hello Blogging World!!

By now I'm pretty sure you're all wondering what this blog is about... As I have previously told you all, I tend to try and keep parts of my life private as it's not healthy for me to share absolutely everything with you all... Eventually, when I feel like the time is right then I will come out of my shell and explain parts...

Only, a year ago today things were totally different. But things happen for a reason!

Scott and I have parted, I have seen a lot of your messages wondering what's going on etc... Well it's time for me to explain little parts to you all.. I'm not going to sit here and disclose everything as that stays between Scott and I.

Did I see it coming? No. I didn't at all! I don't believe Scott did either however it is what it is.

I turned to you all for some sort of closure I guess. It's a very confusing situation and I guess we have all been in a place before, where we didn't understand parts of our lives to some degree.

But hey let's not dwell on the past let's set sail to the future!!

I'm happy and I wish Scott the best with his university courses too. We both deserve to be happy and personally I feel like having reached this point of wishing the best etc and not having any bad emotions towards any of us is a really good thing.

Every girl and every boy goes through an angry stage of wondering what if's or buts or almost a hate stage. Again, I don't know if he has reached that stage however I know I haven't.

Cutting contact from the person you loved and getting used to different routines is so important!

Pick up your crown and remember you're who you're and you always will be! Don't be afraid of failure, people fall sometimes and it's what makes them stronger!

I would love to say a massive thank you to my best friend Lizzie, my mum and family members for being so supportive through a difficult time. Plus a massive thank you too all my friends who have chipped in to help make me smile!

So thank you, I wouldn't be as strong as I am without you all!

For now, I am sure you can understand I am taking some time for myself.... I have lots of things to look forward too! Keeping yourselves busy is very important and looking out for your loved ones is the most important thing!
