'Mexing It Up With @ MI COCINA!'

 

Happy Sunday and of course Happy Valentine's Day to you all! I hope you all have had a day full of love and joy, just like the remaining 364 days a year! Or at least put on Netflix with a nice handful of chocolates! 

Well for those of you who have seen my Instagram stories recently you will know where I am going with this blog but for those who haven't you soon will do!

MI COCINA

I simply can't stress enough how excited I have been to write this FOOD blog! Ever since picking up the takeaway it's been on my mind with the importance of sharing with you all. 

Now when I say this food is out of this world, it's simply out of this WORLD! Before I jump into reviewing the food and presentation I just wanted to share how perfect I think the idea of having a Mexican themed restaurant is in Winchester is. With living in Winchester for over three years the one thing I would say that's been missing is a Mexican style restaurant and waa-laaa! 

The whole structure of the restaurant and tapas vibe that MI COCINA provides just as a takeaway let alone when lockdown is lifted will be superb! Especially during the summer time with friends or your partner and of course a lovely cocktail what more could you possibly want?

So with that picture in mind that I have created let's dive straight into reviewing the food. I thought I would let the pictures of the food do the talking initially... 

I mean surely you can see why I have left the photos to it. Is there anything that I need to say? I mean just WOW!! Again, the food is absolutely out of this world! The food is beyond stunning there's just not enough words to explain how incredible the food is! 

Everything from the presentation to the tiny little details are just AMAZING! 

WOW! 

The team are absolutely fantastic and super efficient as well which is an added bonus! 

For those of you who know me will know that I am obsessed with Mexican food, it's up there for being one of my favourite types of food so of course I am super impressed with the menu selection. 

I would highly recommend taking a look at there Instagram page as they share an incredible amount of how they make the food and the hard work that goes into making the food. So please take a little look and be sure to order some Mexican food as you won't be disappointed for sure!

If your fancying something different and fancying dishes to share then I would highly recommend MI COCINA and I would definitely rate MI COCINA as a 5***** plus!! 

As I draw this blog to a close I thought it would be an idea to ask for your opinions on what blogs you would like to see more of. With there not looking like a nearby end to this lockdown currently then I have the time to upload much more content than I previously have... So let me know if there's anything you'd like to see more of in the comments below or on my Instagram. 

With it being Valentine's Day, I can leave a little hint for some upcoming blogs which will be some fashion content of course so there isn't any need to fret regarding that front as they will be coming very soon! 

Be sure to wrap up warm as the weather hasn't been the warmest and we certainly have needed to layer up! Though the warmer weather is meant to be coming this week so fingers crossed for that!

My Current Beauty Products For The Summer...

Today has been yet another manic Monday for myself, what has your Monday been like? Do let me know below in the comment box... 

I thought it was about time to share my summer beauty products ranging from; make-up, hair care and brushes... I know it can be really helpful for people to know what sorts of make-up people wear and things as sometimes you end up recommending items that other people haven't seen before which ends up being really helpful. So I hope that this is helpful for you all! 

I thought, I would begin with sharing this mirror as it's super handy and very affordable. As well as the fact that it lights up so you can use it either day or night to do your make-up. Looks super cute and you can purchase this through Amazon. 

  

So my favourite body cream right now is this beauty. If you're looking for a super hydrating and wow factor scent body cream then this is the one to go for. Every morning that I put this body cream on, it just hits me every time with the stunning scent and refreshing factor that it has to it. 

It's a whipped argan oil called Moroccan Escape! 

I'm not actually sure where you can purchase this as it was gifted to me but I presume places like; TKMAX or Amazon will most likely sell this product. 

This has most likely been one of the most valued and wow factor beauty products since it launched last year by Iconic and it's still the same in my eyes a year later. 

I am almost certain that you've probably all purchased this from the Iconic company or that you've heard about it because it's just out of this world. 

So you can choose from two shades of the Iconic spray, I have been lucky enough to have both of them however I have used my original shade already but this shade I have to be honest and say that it's my favourite due to the fact that I love the sun-kissed holiday shimmer it provides to your make-up and body. 

 

I thought I would share these items in one photo as I have previously shared them, but again they have made another appearance on the blog as they're just amazing! 

So I use the Eco Tool Brushes for my eyebrows and I honestly wouldn't change that for the world as they just create the perfect eyebrow shape for me personally. Alongside, my By Kady eyebrow gel and eyebrow powder there's just no words for those products. 

Oh then there's my stunning Rose Gold tweezers from Primark they're just super handy. Not forgetting, my Smash-box Primer that I tend to use more for an evening out but occasionally for day wear too. 

  

I'm not sure where to start with this product... I mean I am taken a back every single time I even remove the lid. I mean the packaging and the design of the product is just smashing let alone the actual product it's simply out of this world. 

It really helps to relax my skin and open up my pores whilst leaving astonishing results! You need to head to Makeup Revolution and purchase this hydrating heated face-mask not just because it's pink and watermelon scented but because it's actually amazing! 

So thank you Mum for this beautiful gift for my twenty second birthday!

Okay so just so you all know, I have been wanting to purchase this product for a very long time as it was recommended by a friend of mine and then it literally turned up a day later in my Glossybox so I feel like somebody knew I wanted it ha-ha! 

It's really added that extra softness to my hair and made it super smooth! 

Again, I hand't heard of this company before receiving this item in my Glossybox last month but I am so glad I received it as it's made my lashes very hydrated and it looks like I am wearing false lashes without the clumpy clown spider leg effect.  So big shout out to Mannnakadar! 

With being very pale, I tend to mix my foundations as some days my skin can look a little lighter or a little more pinky toned so at times I either have to build up to look a little more tanned or I go for the more natural look. I won't lie, I change my foundations around quite a lot due to the fact I either go lighter or a bit darker from day to day however I tend to use the above three which are from; Mac Make-up in the shade N3. The Charlotte Tilbury in a pale Ivory and a Body Shop foundation in the shade 2 which is a pale shade. So the Mac one is actually quite dark for my skin but what with it being summer I wanted a darker foundation that I could mix with my fellow shades of foundation for the perfect match for a summer look towards my skin tone. The other two foundations, blend superbly together if I was wearing them for a more natural effect. 

 

With it being summer, I always tend to change my make-up around a little and this is exactly what I have done as I have began using my Gosh bronzer that I always tend to use during this time of year as it adds a lot more colour to my make-up. 

Again, this has already been shown multiple times on my blog but I am sure you already know this. I just adore this highlighter and it's a bloody good bargain as I have used it nearly every single day since my twenty first birthday and as you can see its still going strong! It's like £4.99! They also have so many more shades but this one I love as it adds the extra bronze touch to it!

Just Something A Little Iconic!

It's October 3rd... 

I mean, I've waited so long to finally remember to post this on the blog. We finally made it after nearly three and a half years! Woohoo! 

Of course, it's Mean Girls! 

For all of those, Mean Girl's Fans out there I'm hoping you appreciate this as much as I do. 

Swiftly moving on, another thing that I'm really appreciating right now is the Snapchat Filters. How stunningly beautiful are they?... Right up my street for welcoming in the colder months! 

Now it's time for something a little Iconic! 

I feel like you may now understand why I am obsessing with Iconic right now. I love their sense of style and design. I feel like, I'm not the only who has kept their boxes... 

Rose Gold mixed with Black and White is a definite right now! 

I think you understand why these two beautiful brushes had to make it into the shopping basket. 

Firstly, how gorgeous is the colours? Not to mention, how incredibly soft the brush is... mmm it's heavenly! 

How could I not purchase both the Sculpting and Buffer brush?... 

Exactly, they both made it into the basket! 

I find the Buffer brush perfect for applying my foundation with but for also ensuring my make-up is set and fixed before applying the Iconic mist prep,set and glow spray.

The sculpting contour brush is perfect for blending and ensuring that your contour is on point. 

 

\As you're all aware I like to mix up my make-up bag fairly often and purchasing the  Iconic Foundation Stick in shade 1.1 has certainly mixed it up. The creamy foundation is the ideal shade for my light skin tone but it adds extra blends which helps make my face look a little more brighter than my usual pale skin. 

I definitely recommend this beauty product to you all.

Cute New-bees From @BejewelledBeauty...

Evening all, it's fair to say that we can tell it's October due to the chill in the air during the evenings now as well as the darker nights drawing in too.

So let's say a big warm welcome to October... 

 

From the Tumblr picture above, I think it's probably easy to guess what topic this blog will be about... 

For sure, it's a Beauty blog today.!

Wow, I'm not exactly sure where to start with this blog as the company and products are truly breathtaking and without a shadow of a doubt they're a bit of me... Ha! What a saying!

With being in a position, where beautiful Boutiques and Companies regularly appear on my social feed I tend to find it really exciting when I end up reviewing and sharing how lovely the products are on the Blog. It's that kind of feeling, almost like a Child waiting for the Christmas Season. 

It's such a great feeling, when I can share something I love so much with you all and I hope you love them as much as I do... 

With that in mind, I will add the link straight away as I want you guys to fall in love with the website and products as much as I have... No hesitations, click the link and then I'll review what my cute new-bees are below... 

Bejewelled Beauty...

I mean, their Instagram account is so gorgeous! It's filled with pretty and pink crystal products amongst many other eye catching shades etc... 

Mind blowing... 





I mean, surely you see now why Bejewelled Beauty amazes me right?

The packaging is simply stunning and I won't lie before even opening the rest of the package I had to stand there and take multiple pictures of the boxes... They're so perfect! A clean white with jewelled crystals but their logo is so iconic. 





Little did I know, they had pretty pink straw inside followed by silver wrapping paper but a cute little letter with a incy peg... They know me well, pink white and silver are must haves but cute stationery too... Wow, they got me! 















I feel like taking a moment to appreciate how beautiful the brushes are but alongside the different colour schemes going on too in the photo's was very much needed.

The crystal makeup brushes are so eye catching as well as being super soft. 

My silver crystal holder is out of this world and it was definitely well needed so that I can attempt to be organised and keep the brushes safely placed together rather than being at the bottom of my make-up bag.

Mmmm-hmmm, how good does this look? Thank you to Bejewelled Beauty for my very own personalised brush holder. It's totally me and very unique!
