I feel like, it's been a very long week this week. Is anybody else feeling like this? Maybe, it's just me.

Anyhow, a little side note but as it's Thursday today I thought it was kind of daunting that we only have four more Thursday's until Christmas Day... I know, kinda crazy right?

I swear that, the build up to Christmas Day feels like we're all constantly closing our eyes and then suddenly we have like two days before it's Christmas Day and everybody is panicking and last minute buying!! Am I right?

Christmas Day always comes round super quick and you seriously question where that time has gone, don't you?

Swiftly moving on, it's been quite a while since my last post and I thought as I had a little time this evening I would post a little blog.

Around this time of year, I always tend to be rather busy due to the fact that I have; Events or a lot going on in my personal or work life... As we all are, right?

On that note, as always it wouldn't be an "Anya Marie Ball" blog without a few Tumblr quotes right?... Nah, I didn't think so...

I'm sure that you all have gathered from the blog title that it's going to have something to do with my hair. Well, you guessed correctly!

But first, can we just pause for a second and appreciate the quotes?

I mean, sassy right?

For anybody that knows me personally or for those of you who read my blogs, I think you will have gathered that I quite love my hair and enjoy going to the Hairdressers like all the time! I joke with my family and friends and say how, when I become a Nan one day I will always be that Nan with the very long hair... I guess we will have to see one day!

I thought, I would share these quotes though as I feel like both of them are confidence boosters and definitely sassy enough to be shared!

With my work life being very chaotic over the last few months, I haven't managed to fit a day to pop down to Toni & Guy in Winchester and sort out my roots so as soon as the opportunity came up... I rung and booked my appointment with Jade! Let's just say, I wasn't left disappointed.

I wasn't sure what I wanted to do in terms of the colouring, whether to stay my warmer blonde tones or go a little lighter... I left Jade with a fairly big and wild case on her hands and 5 1/2 hours later....

This happened....

Jade and I decided to lighten the tone of my hair up and blend the tones in to create a Wintery inspired look for the season.

What better way, than to enter the Christmas period?

I mean, I was truly blown away with Jade's work as I was so overwhelmed with the colour change and am loving my new look.

However, that said I am never failed when going to Toni & Guy in Winchester the girls always know what's best and have magnificent results.

Stocking Filler Ideas...

When it's the time of year to start finding stocking filler gifts we FINALLY know 'Tis the season!!

And now of course I am becoming really eager for the days to pass by as it's under a week before my boyfriend comes home! I'm craving white hot chocolate from Whittards, lots of my mum's shortbread, nan's unhealthy baking, my step-dad's perfect crispy golden roast potatoes, a slice of gammon on Christmas morning with my grandad as it's our Christmas tradition. Not forgetting, the smell of a real pine tree!

Since, I have been becoming really excited for one of the most favourite seasons of them all I have found myself spending most of my free time browsing the internet and magazines for cute and gifty ideas.

I then thought it would be a lovely blog post to share with you all as hopefully it gives you guys some gifty ideas too. Fear not, I'll be sharing some more blog posts on gift guides for you all between now and Christmas!!

1) Tanya Burr - Merry Kissmas - £10.oo - Personally, I think this is a beautiful gift for your best friend as a girl couldn't want much more than a beautiful designed make-up bag which is very Christmassy alongside two new little lip glosses!

2) Zoella - Fragranced Bath Fizzers - £9.00 - I have to say Zoella's beauty collection is most definitely one my wish list for Santa this year as I just can't seem to get enough of her collection! It's an utterly stunning collection, the designs are so beautiful and not forgetting to mention how refreshed and beautiful the products make you feel. I haven't tried the bath fizzers yet which is on my must do list but I one hundred percent think you can't go wrong with little soap products for a Christmas present, can you?

Plus. what I love about this product is the fact it's a two in one gift as after you have used all of the bath fizzers you get to keep and reuse the jar and it's perfect for putting little soap products in.

3) Charlie Red Duo Pack - £8.00 - Who doesn't appreciate a nice little Charlie pack? I know for a fact that I would always welcome them into my home as I simply love them! Plus, it's a perfect and simple gift for you all to buy and it certainly has a Christmas inspired feel to the design!!

4) Leafy & Lovely Boxed Candle - £4.00 - Just wow...! Firstly, I would just like to take the time to appreciate how beautiful the candle looks!! I most definitely think that a candle is an easy and must have gift for someone at Christmas as it's just a perfect little gift!! Which you can find on Superdrug alongside many other beautiful items in the collection!!

5) Make-up Revolution Amazing Nail Collection - £4.00 - So what an amazing collection of nail polishes for an amazing price too!! Every girl likes to spice up their look with different colour nails so you'd be making an excellent choice buying this little gift!

6) Flutter Flower Lights - £5.00 - I found these when I was browsing Superdrug and I fell in love! I absolutely love the pretty little pink flower lights. I think there a perfect gift for a little accessory for your bedroom.

7) Zoella - Wonder Hand Moisturising Hand Cream - £5.50 - I can't get my hands away from this beautiful hand cream it's a perfect little gift that you can give to a friend or a family member as they could slip it into their handbag and always keep their hands soft with this beautiful hand cream!

8) Leafy & Lovely Hand Duo - £3.50 - Nobody could ever go wrong with this hand duo as it's beautifully designed and such a beautiful little gift for maybe your nan or a close friend.

9) Flutter - Bath & Body Collection - I literally can't express how much I love this collection! I think it's perfect gift for a friend or even a family member. You can't ever have enough bath products can you?

10) Leafy & Lovely Pedi Set - £3.00 - When I found this online, I pretty much fell in love with this little pedicure set as it has everything you would possibly need as well as being such a pretty design and an incredible price!!

Getting Festive & Making Christmas Wreath's...

Wow so we are well under-way with December and the count down is going incredibly fast! I can't believe that it's only nineteen days till Christmas day, can you? (Which also means that its thirteen days till my Scott comes home which makes me over the moon!!)

Anyway, I couldn't wait to share this photo with you as I found it scrolling through my social media and knew it was something I wanted to share with you guys!!

I am so excited to share what my day has involved as it's been utterly amazing!! I certainly had the Christmas spirit today that's for sure!! I woke up listening to Christmas music and I feel really sorry for my parents as they had to deal with me singing a-long to the music!!

Today has been utterly amazing and has one hundred percent set the festive spirit and welcomed Christmas to all of our homes!! It has been so beautiful, being able to make our own Christmas wreath's and sharing our different creativity and perspectives has been thoroughly incredible!!

A massive thank you to everyone, especially: my mum, Bobbie and Luke as it's been a lovely experience and I can't wait for Christmas day now!!

Plus, have you noticed how amazing the chocolate brownies are? Mmm they were stunning!! :)

Feeling Festive & Little Surprises...

Well guys I can't actually believe that it's under one day away from the first of December.!! Can you actually believe it, because I can't?

The countdown officially starts tomorrow doesn't it? Have you got any advent calenders this year to join in the festive fun countdown?

I'm so lucky this year as I have been bought a few from my family. Scott bought me a milky bar advent, my nan has bought me a Cadbury's advent so has my mum, alongside her also buying me little gifts and popping them inside a Christmas fabric advent. Of course not forgetting, the advent my cousin Heidi bought me which is the Revoulution make-up advent calender!! Oh my god, I am so excited to open all of my calenders!! I'm sure I will be full up on chocolate before Christmas day comes he-he!!

I'm literally so excited for Christmas, the festive season makes everyone excited and jolly right?

Has anyone found themselves taking a festive selfie yet? I think I have found mine, as I managed to capture my checked scarf in the photo showing the festive season colour, red of course!!

I've found myself browsing Pinterest and Instagram recently and falling in love with Christmas inspired photos and I have included one of my favourite photos above as I just love it!! Have you been inspired by any social media's?

I couldn't help myself but snap away when I was doing some wrapping as well as show you a little insight into my advent calenders... I'm so excited now!!

A Christmas Wishlist and Christmas Essentials 🎅🏻🎁

I can't believe it's only a month away until Christmas day today!!!! It's nearly Christmas, it doesn't feel like one month from today that we will all be celebrating one of the most favourite days of the year, does it?

So I wanted to act on the fact that it doesn't feel like it's nearly Christmas, I decided to create a Christmas wishlist of mine and a Christmas guide for you all in the hope that it might help you with some suggestions of what to buy your loved ones for Christmas...

As you can see I have mingled a lot into one Polyvore inspirational board as I wanted to share some of my top favourite items with you as well as including handy hints of what's most popular to buy this year!!

1) Pillows - for those of you who know me you will know that I love buying new homely bits for my home and my bedroom but I also enjoy buying new pillows every so often as I just love adding an extra homely touch to my bedroom. As well as, having a new pillow to cuddle into. Of course, I love the pretty pyjama pillow as I think it's very girly and stylish but during the Christmas period having a Christmas inspired pillow is utterly stunning right?

2) Text Ornaments - I just can't seem to get enough of the text ornaments, I love the cute little dream one to the 'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas' (I know now for a fact, I will be singing this for the rest of the day!) I love the Christmas ornaments as I think there perfect for the season and it manages to make your home look really Christmasy!

3) Candles - you can't ever go wrong with candles that's for sure! There are so many beautiful scented candles everywhere at the moment!! Everybody loves a candle right? I shall let you into a little secret, when we have candles lit at home I always think of family members or friends who have passed away as I watch the light flicker. So candles are very special and traditional during the festive season.

4) Handbags and Purse - for all you guys out there who are struggling on what to buy for your beautiful girlfriend or fiancée then I would definitely make the suggestion of a new handbag and purse to match as you can't go wrong!!

5) Beauty Care - my mum and my nan are probably reading this and thinking they always buy me beauty care products which I love as a girl can never get enough right? Soaps. shower gels and make-up treats are always a way to win a girl's heart!! Not forgetting to remember a new make-up case of course as they always come in handy...

6) A white watch - so I have become really interested in watches recently as I think they look stunning and show off elegance towards your look especially a white watch...

7) Hot chocolate in a mug & Mugs - as you all know, I love having a hot chocolate with my grandad in the winter and I get really excited when I have Wittard's white hot chocolate which my mum buys me every Christmas. I absolutely love how there's now hot chocolate gift wrapped inside a mug with little treats like marshmallows, it makes me want to put my slippers and pj's on watching a film by the fire. As well as new mugs, you simply can't go wrong when it comes too buying mugs as you can never have enough in my eyes!!

8) Gingerbread men, Biscuits & Sweet Treats - the Christmas season is all about sharing treats like candy canes, chocolate oranges, shortbread and gingerbread men! If your ever stuck for choice, don't forget that sweet assortments are a massive favourite for everyone too!

9) Diaries - everyone's must have essential is a diary for the new year. Nobody can ever go wrong with buying a diary.

10) Christmas Décor - let's not forget the festive season is always based around the fancy lights and décor don't be afraid to try and buy some festive decorations like snowflakes as they always look amazing!!

11) Perfume & Aftershave - are always a massive hit for Christmas as it's such a well known Christmas gift! I have to say my wish from Santa this year is for the Daisy Jacobs perfume by Marc Jacobs and for those of you who know me you will all know how much I want this perfume he-he!!
