Winter Warmers, Prepping For Christmas and A Few Autumn Scenic Views...

A warm wintery welcome back everyone!

I mean I literally can't believe that it's the official countdown to Christmas, one month to go! It feels like it was only five minutes ago, but here we're once again!

I thought it was time to share some Wintery inspired pictures and homely pieces.

I'm obsessing with the candle above not only because it's a personalised and super cute but because the scent is Red Cinnamon and its honestly breathtaking! You can purchase this gorgeous candle, from Peacocks but be sure to get there quickly as they have 30% off selected items including the candle, the candle holder and the snow leopard print mugs displayed below.

Okay so I know this is going to sound completely weird, so I purchased this candle holder not for the purpose of being a candle holder!! I know weird right? So for a while I have been looking for a holder that's big enough to fit my Bamboo Face Cloth in, which I use to remove my make-up from which I shall share on the blog with you another time. But when I stumbled across this, I knew it would be the perfect fit as well as being a perfect design as pink is of course my favourite colour but I like the gold rim and pattern that's included.

I already know that so many people will be reading this and think 'oh god here we go again another Christmas Blog' well yeah it is exactly that with a slight twist because I just love Christmas!!

Of course, my Christmas Tree and Decs are up!! Are yours? If they aren't then they should!! So we had to take a trip to Wilko, Home Bargains and Primark to buy some newbies for the Flat and the Tree of course. This year, I decided on a; Rose Gold, Pink, White and Silver colour scheme!

I shall insert a picture of the tree down below....

Walaaa here it currently is before all the presents will surround it!

Although, I didn't use this star for the tree I have used it in the hallway to the entrance of the flat which stands out very nicely alongside the candy cane lights in my head it feels like a little Santa's Grotto entrance!

What I love the most about the Baubles is not just the colour but of course the price as they were a complete bargain! Especially the fact, you can get 3 products fro the price of 2!! Amazing right?

I swear I am literally obsessed with taking photos of Christmas Tree's during this time of year! Is it just an obsession of mine or am I not the only one who does this?

I couldn't resist sharing this Autumn Inspired GlossyBox as it had the little Winter Warmers that we all need of course! If you haven't heard of GlossyBox before now then please do head over to their website page and check them out! I find that GlossyBox, is really good gift idea if you're stuck wondering what you should get someone!

From moisturisers to tea bags to hair oil and hand cream not forgetting the Prep and Set Glow what else do you need?... Nothing!!

Right, I'm aware I have an obsession obviously I thought that it was a secret but clearly it's not... YES I love leopard print!!

I really feel this year has been the come back for animal prints though and I love the diverse range that they have such as; the snow leopard print has truly taken off this year too!

On the left hand side, I have the Leopard Cuffed Black Gloves from Matalan which are only £8!

On the right hand side, I have a gorgeous Leopard Print scarf from Peacocks that was only £12, complete bargain for the size of it!

I won't lie clearly when I was taking this picture I was going through my makeup bags and rearranging everything... I'm not that messy, I swear!

However, what I love about this time of year as well is the fact that I can finally turn the pink lights on that hang around my dressing table mirror. Oh it just adds that extra special touch!

I've been trying to search for the right potpourri for months and then I stumbled across this little bargain from Aldi which is exactly what I have been waiting for! The scents and the colours are just spot on! So I purchased a few, as I think one looks perfect for an extra little decor in the surroundings of your home and the other to place in my vase!

Alongside, the white tinsel from Home Bargains which matched alongside the other white colour baubles and other decor items that I have surrounding the flat and the tree as it blended in lovely.

Again here's another beautiful inspiration for your Christmas Tree and Decor that's from Toni and Guy in Winchester. It's honestly stunning and I always find plenty of inspiration after heading to Toni and Guy!

I've been waiting to share these cups with you, aren't they stunning from Peacocks? The print is just unbelievably beautiful! They also look stunning in your kitchen!

Who can't resist a glass of Mulled Wine during this time of year?

Another obsession of mine during this time of year, is boots and I always seem to get at least another pair each year! However, isn't the walking boot Chelsea style just super on trend for this time of year? But I love the fact that the boots come with two different types of laces! How stunning!

Again a lovely purchase from Peacocks!

It's been lovely writing this blog and sharing some Wintery products and inspirations with you all. I hope you haven't missed me too much! Fear not, I am back now and I have a lot to share with you all ranging from; inspirational blogs, lifestyle blogs, makeup guides, fashion tips and tricks and skin care products!

Feel free to leave suggestions below!

Don't forget to share your Christmas gifts, pieces, buys and tree's with me as I look forward to seeing them all!

Lots of love to you all.

Shirt style vs night and day!

Evening again guys,

I think that this is one of my favourite style boards that I have created so far on Polyvore and I wanted to share it with you guys so you can experience the different styles that I wear or like...

There is a massive hype at the moment towards the shirt dress, many celebrities have been spotted wearing it like: Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Rita Ora, Lauren Pope and many others.

The shirt dress isn't something that I have actually worn yet but it is definitely something I love and will try to wear soon.

Though here's a little insight towards how I would style the shirt dress. I personally find the shirt dress really stylish and I think it's suitable for both day time and night time wear.

I will show you guys how I have styled the shirt dress for both day time and night time below:

1) Day Time:

I would personally just wear the shirt dress without a coat during the day time as I think it looks trendy without needing a coat to add that extra little detail,

I have paired the shirt dress with a pair of sandals that are embellished showing off the decorative detail that works well with the shirt dress as it shows a stylish but still casual style.

I chose to pair it with a plain blag bag as it is stylish and simplistic, with a pair of pink pastel sunglasses to show off that neutral summer look.

2) Night Time:

With the night time look I have paired the shirt dress with a grey coat as I think it works well with the blue colour as it makes the blue colour of the shift dress stand out but also the coat is very stylish for a summers evening.

I paired it with the same handbag as I think the handbag works well for a day or night time appearance, Though I have paired it with a pair of black boots as I think it shows off that chic style to your outfit.

I have also paired it with a Ted Baker purse which is handy to use as a clutch bag on a night out.

Alongside that, I have paired the shift dress with a pearl necklace as it breaks up the outfit and shows off a glamorous touch to the outfit.

You could also pair it with a black watch as I think it makes your outfit look simplistic but also sophisticated.

In terms of makeup, I have gone for a very natural but stylish look as I think the outfit deserves that natural sassy look.

Let me know what you think guys, I hope you like the style!

Lots of love,

Anya x

Articles....

Hey guys,

As your aware I currently write articles for the Yoppul web magazine and I have had so many opportunities with the County Press team and Yoppul...

I am lucky enough to have had my articles published on the Yoppul webiste, let alone in the actual newspaper so I am really fortunate for the opportunities the team have provided me with.

That said, I would especially like to thank Thomas Seal as he has been a major influence on the way I write and with the development of my confidence to follow the career I want to follow. Plus with the support he has provided me with has been amazing.

I am going to posting the articles that I have wrote for Yoppul on my blog as well as it will show a different style towards the way I write and it will also show a further understanding of who I am!

So guys I will be providing you with an insight into the articles I have wrote for Yoppul and the County Press on the blog soon.

Make sure you check the Yoppul website out on: http://www.yoppul.co.uk/

Here's the first one for you guys:

How are our outfits affected by the weather?

Fashion student Anya Ball wonders whether we might underestimate the impact of the weather not only on the way we dress, but also on the way we think.

I studied fashion at sixth form – and a common classroom topic of conversation was how the weather changes your outfit.

Personally, I would only wear a skirt or a dress to sixth form if the weather was sunny.
The weather has a massive impact on what we wear, and our attitudes: I have often found myself dressing up more when the sun is shining.
And I often find myself going for a more casual style when the weather isn’t so great.
Do you find yourself dressing up more when the weather is nice? Or do you just wear whatever you fancy?
Recently during sixth form it has been a topic of conversation because students are moaning about the unpredictable summer rain.
I would also say men tend not to be as affected by the weather — their outfits don’t really change as much. (That said, they do wear shorter sleeves, sunglasses etc.)
The weather does have an impact on all of us to some degree, either your mood or your outfit.
I find myself a lot happier when the sun is shining, and I would say the weather impacts us more than we sometimes think.

8 Key Styles To My Outfits...

Hey guys,

I thought I would show you a few styles of mine and an insight into my wardrobe so that you can understand me as a blogger more and the types of clothing I wear....

You can definitely do this by following my Instagram - Babyanyamarie97 - as I tend to share a lot of photos of my outfits on there!

My style always tends to be varied, I don't always go for the same approach to fashion. I like to mix it up a bit and try out new styles...

So I shall let you into a few styles, that are my favourite. I hope you like them guys!

1) Hawaiian Inspired Print Playsuit -

As I have said before, I am definitely a lover of the colour pink, so I would say colours play a huge influence on my style. I absolutely love prints as they add extra sass to your outfits but they also look and feel really summery. I would say playsuits are one of my favourite clothing items as you can dress them up or dress them down. (The Playsuit is from Boohoo!)

2) All Black Everything -

My style often changes as the seasons go on, this was taken in the Winter period. Though I thought I would still add it into this blog as you can still wear black in the summer periods. I think the all black look is definitely one of my favourite styles, as you can play around with the accessories you wear and the shoes you wear. I went for a pair of brown boots (Newlook) to make my outfit look dressy but edgy at the same time. I paired it with a neutral pink coloured handbag (Matalan) to add detail to my outfit, I also wore my winter black coat (Primark) which managed to express that wintery vibe through the fake fur on the hood. You can't go wrong with an all black look!

3) Print Mayhem -

Prints are definitely the way I tend to go with my style as I like to add that little bit extra to my outfits. I find that joggers (TKMAX) are really comfortable but also really trendy for all seasons as you can wear them in any type of weather. As you can see I have paired it with a black cropped jumper (Boohoo) so I have gone for the winter approach but it still manages to have that summer hint through the print and the cropped jumper. If I were to go for the summer approach I would definitely wear a white crop top just so it shows that little bit extra with pairing it with a summery colour.

4) Laid Back Jean Days -

Simple casual clothing always manages to look effective through the way you style it. I love my comfortable but stylish high waisted jeans (Topshop) as they go with absolutely everything whether it will be a dressy evening wear or a casual day style. I definitely think the choice of colour plays an impact on your outfit too as jeans come in a wide selection of colours and you don't always havet to go for a plain colour you can mix your style up for sure! I have paired it with a simple logo tee in black and white colours so it adds that simple but sweet detail to your outfit. I have definitely gone for the casual style with this outfit through the choice of shoes, (Matalan) the peachy pink pumps definitely add that difference to your outfits as they add the 'wow factor' to your simplistic style.

5) Barbie Street To Chic -

As you can see I definitely have gone for that pale but rocky edgy look through the choice of clothing I am wearing. I went for the Barbie Street to Chic look by wearing a pink skater skirt (H&M) - I find that skater skirts are one of my essentials for the summer season. My wardrobe is definitely full up with skater skirts as I absolutely love them! I paired my skater skirt with a black crop top (Boohoo) to darken my outfit and to show the rocky style. I then wore my leather jacket over my crop top to add that rocky and edgy style to the Barbie style. I matched the style with a pair of dolly shoes to add the finishing touches to my style (Primark) as the shoes definitely blend in well with the rest of the colour black.

6) Lace and Aztec Print -

As I have stated before, prints and the colour black plays a massive influence on my outfits and my style as I think they just work for me. Not everyone has the same opinion on prints or lace but I tend to wear a lot of prints and lace clothing!

I love this detailed look of mine, I found the shorts really comfortable and stylish (Boohoo) they included the Aztec print which always makes your outfits look more detailed and stylish. Not forgetting the fact they have the pom poms attached to the bottom of your shorts too! I paired it with a lace black top to show off the black detail in the shorts... I think it paired nicely with the shorts.

7) Print Flower Passion -

I'm sure you guys are aware that I love prints, patterns, skater skirts and crop tops by now....I have to say that this is one of my skater skirts though because it has the detail through the prints and it's just perfect for a winter or summer occasion. Both of the items are from Boohoo.com - as you can see I am a devoted fashion follower towards Boohoo's website. I paired the skater skirt with the black crop jumper to show that it has that summery and wintery approach.

8) Split Tee Day's -

Split Tee's are definitely on trend at the moment, you can pair them with jeans to show your casual but dressy style off which is definitely what I have done here. The grey split tee (MissPap) definitely adds detail to your outfit and looks dressy. I paired the split tee with a dark blue pair of jeans (Tophsop) and a pair of white platforms which are my favourite pair of shoes at the moment (Peacoks). I think the jeans add the casual and simplistic look but the platforms show off the dressy approach to fashion and the summer season.

I hope this has shown you guys an insight into my fashion....

Anya x
