I can successfully say, I feel like I've completed quite a lot today... Woo-hoo!
I mean, it's been a few weeks since I've posted online and I seem to literally be on the ball with everything today... Kind of a pun there as surname is Ball but hey ho.
What with it being, Autumn officially now it's fair to say Autumn Fashion is the centre of our Shopping Lists as well as being the centre of all our shopping centres.
It's pretty clear the big Autumn jackets followed by the big fluffy socks and warm big cardigans are our essentials right now with the warm but crispy Autumn weather.
In saying that, we shouldn't forget the beautiful homely inspired Autumn pieces... It's about this time of year that I always bring out my warmer duvet and head to town to purchase the following two items; big fluffy warm blankets/throws to snuggle into whilst typically watching Bridget Jones or any Rom Com films and Autumn inspired scented candles for the darker nights which always make me feel the urge to run for a bath as it makes me feel super cosy.
On that note, it's fair to say a big welcome to the Autumn season... For those of you who wished to know exactly when Autumn began it was Saturday the 23rd of September 2018 and it ends on the Friday the 21st of December just in time for the Christmas period...
Like every warm up for the season of course, I share 'Must Have Essentials'... I guess it's kind of a regime for the blog.
When I initially started blogging back nearly four years ago now, it used to be a massive hit for readers alongside also being an inspirational reason for why I began blogging too. I gathered my inspiration through reading and creating blogs similar to this as I grew to know how everybody loves to seek; guidance, inspiration and potential trends that we individually like to create our own little twist to.
So, it's a Seasonal tradition on the 'Anya Marie Ball' blog!
Hold up... First, it's time for an Autumn inspired selfie. I feel like, Nude Inspired colourings are the essential colours for Autumn. I know, we all go for the bright red lipsticks or deeper but more bolder shades during this season but I kind of enjoy applying a more Nude inspired colour during this season too.
Subtle is also very beautiful too.
We all know that it also wouldn't be an 'Anya Marie Ball' blog without a selfie or a mirror selfie right? So for today, I thought I would post two for today... Must be your lucky day ha-ha.
Of course, there is a point to why I have shared this particular selfie on this blog... Anyone guessed what it could be?
It could be down to the fact, Gingham and Dog-Tooth patterns are trendy as right now...
You got it!
Autumn 2018, is all about re-introducing big bold patterns and prints that we all used to wear. Just a few years before, the blogging life Leopard print was a massive go to in my closet and then it disappeared for a few years but it's back this year alongside many other prints...
I've got to say majority of the come back prints are a massive hit with me.
What's your opinions on the return of the prints?
Right now, it's all about flowy sleeves but tighter wrists. Is anybody else obsessing over these details right now? I love them. It kind of takes me back to when I studied History as a GCSE as it reminds me of the Victorian period... So it's a definite yes to the cute sleeves and white trim black jumper which isn't a big jumper but cosy enough to keep you warm to pair with a Gingham styled pair of trousers for smart or casual wear.
You can find this at... Matalan!
With the weather being a little more crisp now, you can certainly feel a chill in the air but we still have a little hint of the warm sun. So, it's not time to ditch the bardot style tops yet... Pairing this top with a simple pair of black jeans and a cute black blazer would look beautiful for this season.
You can find this at... Matalan!
My love for Gingham prints are pretty big this year, I find the print stunningly beautiful. You can go the whole hog and buy the trousers to match or you can pair it with a simple pair of black jeans... Either way they look truly stunning!
You can find this at... Matalan!
How could I forget the perfect cosy socks that I always tend to pair with my Chelsea boots or to wear around the house in the colder seasons? I simply, couldn't.
Head over to Primark!
I mean, we all need a Snood don't we? With being anaemic, I feel the cold really quickly so having a Snood is a must have for my wardrobe.
Head over to Primark!
From stating earlier on, that big throws are essentials for the colder months. Here's my beautiful grey throw, which for sure makes me want to stay wrapped up in bed all day.
Head over to Primark!
With grey being a massive hit for me right now it was a straight in the bag kind of purchase. To top it all off, I'm certainly a little Sassy.
Head over to Primark!
For those of you who enjoy doing your nails and need a nail file at the ready, then head down to Primark.
Head over to Primark!
With my hair being extremely thick, I constantly look for new hairbrushes etc. But this is a must have as it was really cheap but also it detangles my hair very easily.
Head over to Primark!
I mean it's Autumn of course, we all accosiate warm baths... Right?
So taking a trip to Lush Cosmetics! is for sure needed. I feel like, I could often find myself lost in buying in that store as it's so gorgeous with the surroundings of different scents and beautiful selections of Bath Bombs etc...
Without a doubt, I am in love with this picture that I captured in the Basingstoke store a few weeks ago.
I hope you've enjoyed the blog and I look forward to hearing what purchases you have all made too for your Autumn period,,,
With Lots of Love,
xx
