Morning everyone,
So last night I thought I would have fun creating a Sassy Summer Seaside look as the weather yesterday definitely put a downer on the summer weather for sure! I guess I created the board, in hope that the weather would be better today!
The weather is definitely brighter today but still cloudy! What's happening to our summer weather?
Summer season is my absolute favourite time of the year, the clothes definitely make an input towards my liking to summer weather!
As you know I am quite a pastel person as I love the colour pink, though other pastel colours are also something I like.
In hope of wishing the weather was sunny and warm, it made me think about the seaside and anyway here comes your Sassy Summer Seaside inspired look by me. I think this is one of my favourite boards I have made on Polyvore so far, I think you can tell I had a lot of fun creating it!
1) Evening Wear -
Well guys, I will start with the Topshop body con black dress it's perfect for the evening times at the beach as it is simplistic but stylish showing off your beach figure!
I have paired the body con dress with a Topshop white coat as it blends in nicely with the black and white look as it shows off a hint towards the monochrome style. The coat is perfect if there is a breeze in the air at night, also it just looks trendy!
A pair of platforms added to your evening beach look will look amazing it definitely shows off your style but keeps your outfit looking fresh too.
With a pink handbag too it mingles in with the nude colour on your platforms and works well with a pastel pink pair of earrings too.
2) Lounging Chic -
Every girl has that outfit which is too dressy for the beach but it works well and shows that you know your style..; Not every girl wants to go to the beach to go in the sea, most girls just like dressing up for the beach and tanning on the sand, right?
I know that I am usually this type of girl, I love going to the beach but I often feel like I am too dressy for the beach which is why I always carry an extra pair of shorts and a crop top in my bag just in case I want to change.
A white crop top is perfect for the seaside inspired look as it shows off the summery colour white but when it is paired with a pink mini pleated skirt it definitely shows off your fashion!
Once again, I have paired it with a pair of platforms but just white ones this time as it blends in nicely with the white crop top and mixes well with the pink skirt!
If you wanted to add your extra chic style in while lounging around on the beach, I would say accessories definitely manage to do that.
I have paired it with a hat as there very trendy during the summer period, a white Marc Jacobs watch the colour white is very stylish and adds in that chic style and a pair of Calvin Klein aviator sunglasses.
3) Beach Babe -
What's important to know is bikinis are definitely the top statement of your beach wear, once you have a trendy look with your bikini you can't go wrong...
There are many different ways to dress a bikini up or down, this time I have gone for having the bikini on it's own as I think the statement you make of the bikini on it's own stands out more but that's just my opinion.
I have gone for a black and white bikini as the style is very trendy right now but then again I think
black and white stands out and makes a statement towards your fashion. I have paired the bikini with a pair of sandals as sandals blend in well with your beach babe look.
In terms of accessories, I would use the same accessories for this look or you could just keep it basic and use a totte bag for the beach.
4) Down By The Sea -
Finally, for the girls who genuinely want to go in the sea and want too look stylish but being able to keep cool at the same time I have chosen a pink tank top as it's fashionable but also allows you to keep cool.
I paired the tank top with a pair of mint coloured shorts as the colour just looks cooling to me but a very trendy pastel colour too.
Then to add that extra little sassy look towards your down by the sea look I added a pair of block heel sandals which are a pink pastel colour to match well with the pink tank top.
In terms of makeup, always keep your makeup looking natural and fresh when your down the beach!
